yes, that are real ladybugs and that was real chaos!army of ladybugs is just a disaster, they run, they fly, they tickle
i had to ask my friend *schnishna to help in collecting and organizing bugs, without him i couldn't do this shot, thankies *schnishna !

We call them 'ladybirds' here in the UK. Don't know why when they are actually bugs. Anyway, fantastic photography. The ladyBUG panties really do add something. Well done

these look like Harmonia axyridis I think an even cooler shot would be the same but taken with Coleomegilla maculata if you can find enough that is they are rather rare
