120 BC the Kimbern and Teutonen lost many of their settlements by huge storm floods at the North Sea. On their search for a new home, they moved southwards and were the first Germanics that came in contact with the Romans.
At first they could defeat the Romans at Noreia and Arausio and many Romans feared an invasion. But the goal of the Teutonen and Kimbern was never to invade Rome, they were on the search for a new homeland to live. Rome didn´t allow that, and at Aquae Sixtae finally defeated the Teutonen. The rest of them joined other germanic tribes.
I tried to show this story in a countryball comic, hope u like it, I surely need more practice, it´s my first real comic, even tho I did something else before^^

Always when people say, hey Rome was earlier a great culture...äh yes sure, but their tribal phase was also 1000 years earlier,
the Germanics were not slower, they were just later in starting in their civilization and in the end became 100x more developed
than Rome ever was XD

The Roma Invicta comic is absolutely beautiful, but I wouldn´t ever do
such a high quality one....maybe one or two for special events but later,
let´s see^^

Well sometimes the message is more important. When I started to make maps,
they were really ugly and nooby, but I did only want to spread a message^^

Well, maybe Carpathian Ruthenia, (some do) And In 1940 Slovak Prime Minister Vojtech Tuka twice wrote memorandum to Germany that "on the borders of Protectorate lives half a million Moravian Slovaks (Moravian Slovakia ) without minority rights and majority of them asks to be joined with Slovakia state" But he was rejected, but we don't claim that territories today.

The strongest theories about origin of names:
Slovak: Slovo= Word (same for Slovenia) + ( Hungarians were calling us Tóth ) Many theories why.
Polsko/Poland: Pole= field
Croatia/Hrvatska or in my l. Chorvatsko: can by from word back of mountain "cHrbat"
Ukraine/ Ukrajina - U= in krajina= landscape . (but can also mean on edge )
But this is just one of theories

It´s actually rather true, Rome often was arrogant to "inferior" peoples^^
The symbol is the valknut, the symbol of Odin, I´ll take it as representation
for all Germanics^^
