Description
Those this make sense? Not a lot.
Was this what was meant in the prompt? Not sure.
Was this the first and best idea that popped into my head? Yeah.
Anni at first thought it was some kind of weird April Fools joke.
Turns out it wasn't.
So bareback dressage it was. No problem, easy peasy lemon squeezy. But then things got .. weird ... er.
Which was why she was now here in a class that was supposed to be about pole work in a princess dress and pretending to be dead.
And such a tragic death it was. Poisoned.
The assignment had been: Create a little play and involve your horses.
Apparently, this was a lesson on desensitization and preparation should any of them wish to pursue a career as a stunt or movie rider.
Personally, Anni thought the teacher just wanted some free entertainment. Maybe the TV in the teacher's lounge broke or something.
So they were paired off and had to come up with a little scene, rehearse it, and then perform it in front of the whole class. No big thing.
It could be worse. They could be forced to sing. (Anni is not good at singing. It's better if she just moves her mouth without actually making any sound.)
Luckily Anni and Aael came up with a little scene based on Romeo and Juliet (though with a little twist at the end).
So while Aael was now reciting his lines, Anni just had to lie there.
Her biggest part came at the end when she had to wake up from her poisoned coma and then hopefully give the audience a good scare when she tried to go for Romeo's jugular.
It's Shakespeare meets Dracula time.
