very nice. where in CA? any issues with airport xrays/film? check out my recent stuff from honduras: [link] perhaps you can relate to my recent journal entry.

I never let my films go under xrays. Very easy if you carry on a few 3200 iso.

i was getting weary of arguing with the security people at the airport about hand-checking my film -- they invariably would debate that the xray wouldn't affect film -- so as a test, the last time i went to honduras i double-packed 10 rolls of 400 & 10 of tmax 3200 -- in lead-lined bags, sent it through x-ray with my carryon baggage, which forced them to hand-check anyway. the film was for my MP, to use for back-up in case one of my M8s died on me.

when i returned, after the film went through a total of four x-ray security points, the processed 3200 looked good as new.

incidentally, my M8s worked just fine but the leicavit on my MP locked up and was useless the rest of the trip.

Hmmm... the funny thing is that when you bring new films still packed to the xrays, they have to unpack each one of them to check. They love it
