Profonde. Yes everything is ephemeral.
Wonderful photo and description.

the expression in this shot is classic. The balance of light/dark is really nice as well and the overall composition is really nicely balanced. Good luck with the contest. Nice capture.

Something to think about indeed. And its nice that you wrote in two languages. They also must be preserved and be eternal.

An excellent conceptual image, in one sense it can be viewed as almost whimsical, and at another as being really quite philosophically profound...
On an advanced level critique, I don't know whether this will help but to me the shadow of the man and also of the object far right on the wall seem a little too dark... I wonder if selectively masking and bringing back a little of the wall detail in the shadows, enough to show they are there, might enhance... (on my monitor they appear so black they could be cut outs if that makes sense)... I suppose the counter to that kind of adjustment might be the emptyness/ blackness contained therein is part of the message... its up to you I guess, but thats what I'd be inclined to experiment with... the strong contrasts of the image do work well to make it quite strident...
Framewise... I think an equal border thickness on all sides would be much better than an unequal one as current, and perhaps a narrow thin white line immediately around photograph, 2-4 pixels, to seperate it from the balck border would also enhance, especially on the right where blackness blurs into frame..
hope that is of some help
