I don't know, whether it's common for all deviants, or only in this part of dA I usually lurk, but sure it seems like the beginning of the year comes with inability to draw a thing. I'm afraid that I've become a bit whiny about that, but sure as hell it made me angry that I was just sitting in front of blank sheet and wondering what the hell I'm doing. Or rather, why the hell I'm not doing it.

That's where comes big THANK YOU to ~Nefiria , who suggested drawing her character, called Nefiria Sefires, in animal anthro form. What can I say, original was a medic, so that's why there's Rod of Aesculapius. And a stick with a snake looked somehow fitting for a bear
Next thing, why the bear? Well, in past/future/alternative universe, house Sefires is royal family ruling the kingdom, in which Tihilngera, known also as Nestor Bear, is very common in heraldry. Although first thought was to made her an aesculapian snake itself, I left it as plan B, cause I've earlier come with a nifty colour scheme for bear.

What more can I say, I've enjoyed giving the right textures for scales and fur, although I don't know if this is visible here. Quite happy with it, overall. I'm kinda worried about the head part, cause I was trying to put as much parts from original pic there as I could. And I feel like I've failed miserably.
