Description
Having suffered from amnesia ever since she woke, there was still much of this world that Alear did not understand. She often struggled to tell the ordinary from the extraordinary. But she was pretty sure that the tiny thief scurrying by her feet was extraordinary.
"Hiya papaya!" the miniature woman greeted her, "I'm Yunaka! Do me a favor and pick me up, will ya?"
"S-sure..." Alear nervously agreed. She crouched down and held out her hands. The tiny woman was surprisingly nimble, quickly slipping into her hands. Alear was careful to keep her stable as she stood back up, but Yunaka seemed to have no problem keeping her balance.
"Thanks! Whew, I'd forgotten what the world looks like from this height!" she cheered.
"My name is Alear. Are you... some kind of tiny person?" Alear asked, "or from a race of tiny people?"
"Huh? No, silly! I'm normally big like you," Yunaka explained, "but I got zapped by a super strange ring, and the next thing I know, I'm ultra tiny! It's been a big shift in perspective for me, let me tell you!"
"I see... in that case, I should help you get back to normal," Alear said.
"Aww, you're too kind! But don't sweat it too much. I kind of like the new me!" Yunaka said, "and now that I've got you to carry me everywhere, I don't have to worry about tiring myself out running around!"
"I guess?"
"Cool beans! Now that we've got that sorted out, let's go! Alear, away!" she cheered.
Alear didn't see any other course of action but to humor the tiny woman.
"All right. I guess I should get going..."
"Zappy!"
