An attempt to a epic stage, playing out 2 roles against each other. The bigger forest elf are caught off guard when the eagle turn down upon her with high speed in a urgent manner.
She goes defensive, heavily concerned by this ill ride.
Main goal here was to try out some silent communication and interaction between human / nature.
The composition is made to give the eagle the advantage of the aggressive part. While the elf sets the mood.
I've intentionally left out the eagles head, just to leave a open end. .
Doubt the schoolbooks recommend key lines to point towards hidden objects. But what are rules if not to break
Started with this piece back in '09, but was left behind, so I'm happy see it though finally.
C&C are always welcomed.

Her face looks amazing, and so do he feathers..
The only thing I can give critique on would be the torso, it looks very long in comparison to the arms, and I can't see any hips in the horizon
But it looks amazing anyway. I love the color work, the shading looks great and so soft...
I can't figure out what she's holding in her hand though
