So, over the summer, I'm sitting reading a book and minding my own business, right? And suddenly, my mom (who was working in the garden) yells, "Come quick!"So I get up and run to the door, and she shoves an itty bitty baby bunny right into my hands!
Of course I'm like, "OMGOMG" and pet it and whatnot. It was pretty young so it just sort of sat there and didn't do much. So I'm carrying it around and a few minutes later, mom is like, "Come quick come quick!" So I run back to the door, and guess what, she hands me three more!
Anyway, I showed them to my cat, hoping they would re-awaken some long-dormant maternal instinct... huge dissapointment, she just looked really freaked out.

Haha, right? She didn't really have the innate killer instinct or the innate mothering instinct... more like... the innate "get me out of here" instinct which I can relate to...

Yeah! It was nice of her, though, even if she wanted to I don't know if she'd get very far, my cat was declawed before we got her

Yeah, my cat has no instincts whatsoever... I put the bunnies next to her and she just sort of stared at them before beating a hasty retreat. She wouldn't know what to do with a critter if she caught one. She's a real sweetheart, though.

yeah XD If i put him in the same room with the rabbit, he'll cling to me and put his ears WAAAY back and start doing that 'i dont like this' growl. it's pretty funny
