NEW MIKU NENDOROID WOOOOO!!! EIKAGFHWIEGWAll joking aside, I got my bootleg Sakura Miku today. Surprisingly, it doesn't feel much like a bootleg if you disregard the box... and some paint errors... and odd hair joints... meh, I'd still say it's a high-quality bootleg! (is that possible?)
Strangely, there are 2 versions of this on ebay. One for around $20 shipped, and the one I bought for $25 shipped. Based on what I've seen and read, the other one comes with a few different parts, but also has a few different paint errors. Nonetheless, they're all bootlegs in the end.
The real Sakura Miku is just a small charm thing (~35mm in size). It's truly a shame that they've never made a full-sized one.
EDIT: Could it be an official sakura miku nendoroid? I hope it is. [link]
EDIT x2: and an official sakura miku has been announced. It has a different design compared to this and the charm. [link]

If you just search "sakura miku nendoroid", you'll find a lot of similar ones, but the seller who I bought mine from has sold out already. The only thing is that all the full sized nendoroids with this design are all bootlegs.

I was surprised at this one when I read some guy's review of it. It looked pretty good for a bootleg, and since GSC didn't even have this version at the time, I wanted it. I've seen some other bootlegs, and well, they aren't very good (but this one is special [link] ).
Which snow one are you getting, the most recent one with the coat and shovel?

there is an officoal one. i have the bootleg one that they have recalled from the company Moe-PLUS+ go to www.nendonesia.com and go to news. scroll down and she has been announced to combat the bootlegs and the frst one they made is displayed at GSC Cafe in Japan. it shows all the bootlegs too. mine is the one on the left with the multi colored box that says Moe-PLUS+ at the bottom where it would usually say good smile company.

After seeing it for the first time, I truly fell in love with it--but after reading all that stuff about the bootlegs, I'm a little concerned about whether I should, or shouldn't.
I'm a huge fan of Miku though--but, would you say it's worth it, even as a bootleg?
I'm sure I'm coming across as annoying, but I thought I'd ask someone who bought one for a second opinion. I hope you don't mind. XD

If you're a "huge fan" and have ~$25 lying around (like me, lol), I'd say go for it. They're probably not going to release an official version of it anyway. However, if paint errors or stuff like that really bother you, then you should save your money for something else, since bootlegs tend to have those sort of things.
Mine wasn't bad though; the only things I really had to complain about were that the cherries were a little hard to attach, but they stay on fine when you do get them on. In my opinion, it's not that bad for a bootleg, but your mileage may vary. Honestly, I was expecting something a bit lower in quality.
...and yes, I think she's cute.
