Description

The ball was going better than most anticipated, with people taking a spot on the dance floor, or using the opportunity to take in as much of the free food they could, meet new people from other branches, trying to have a moment with their special someone, or even losing themselves to the drinks served at the place. Nevertheless, it was almost unnoticeable the fact that a few sneaked off the ballroom...

Part 2 of 'The Great Ball' event on COLOSSUS-ATROX !
I wanted to make a nice full and detailed colored picture since I don't usually do much of those and had this picture in my head... Though it didn't turn out the exact way I visioned it, I still think it's pretty close to it!
So here we have features of other characters from the group (from left to right):

And at the back we have Flan, drunk and all giggly, sneaking out of the party with her 'mysterious' partner~

Ah, I'm finally done with this! I've been working on this soooo hard and spending so many hours on it too... When I finished the sketch phase I had thought to myself that I wished that I could do it more of a painting style, and the next day I looked up some artwork with such a style and decided to give a try as well. It was certainly worrisome and I was unsure of myself as I was doing since I had never colored above the lines before (though we are talking about sketch lines) but kept working on it and never gave up. It was nice to skip the lineart phase but the shading phase was certainly VERY long.
Either way, I'm very glad I gave it a try and I'm quite satisfied with the results of my first attempt. It came out better than expected and I will perhaps use this method again in the future.
