This is just me spitballing here but since the fanfic hadn't updated yet, you could draw something for the unknown future. Where because it's taking so long for Lance to heal everyone has to go to sleep but Keith falls asleep leaning up against the healing chamber.
Idk. When I read an ongoing fanfic like this I have a tendency to think about what could happen next.
