Well even a bad guy wants to play . This was the first try for me with Super Mario 3D World models. The polycount is quite good but the textures are horrible I had to revamped them all. Somebody at Nintendo was really trippin' with the vanilla textures... >_>

So how did you achieve the pink lights? Is it physical lights with a dash of bloom?

Exactly and also a bit Photoshop work. The bloom filter isn't very intelligent in Keyshot, most time it lit up everything

Call me dream-crusher but there is things in Keyshot that will never change, such as only CPU rendering

Yeah well I guess keyshot is advertised to be a CPU renderer, I don't think they would want to change a key feature. I don't have anything against that in particular, but they need to fix their damn lighting technique lol.

Yeah the lighting engine is a son of a glitch, still having issues with overlighted meshes when using physical lights after I build everything up with HDR lighting. :/

You should start with physical lights, that's what I do now.

I do all the time but as I said: The lighting engine is buggy as hell

Wait isn't that all of KeyShot
I hope some fantasy happens to KeyShot like it happened to blender, back when it was extremely humble (blender 2.49), and then turned into something that is pretty legit for a 3D program.

It seems like somebody really need to kick luxion in their expensive butt to let a wonder happen xD I look forward to KeyShot 6 it have some pretty cool features like the geometry splitting that is very handy for models with only few parts of separate materials.

Yep, much easier than importing the model into a different (legit) 3D program thenexporting it to KeyShot XD
