Sentinel duty in Hashinshira is rotating, and even the most important still get assigned to it. He's watching for any encroachment by their enemies.

Sometimes I get Thenyr in leather instead of metal armor, but yeah, it would look pretty close to plate then.

if i'm not mistaken clerics doesn't have armor restrictions(or at least not too extreme), good for him!
i've heard that cloth is more protective than leather if done correctly, of course that in dnd setting cloth doesn't protect you.

Well, it mostly depends on the place I'm playing him. Some people feel the weight of full plate would crush a bird chest, and honestly, they're probably right.

he's based on a bird of prey, birds of prey usually can carry a nice amount of weight, besides plate armor is not as heavy as it looks like(it's surprisingly light for what it is), one just needs to get adapted to wearing a plate armor to be able to wear it, there's no need to be super strong or resilient.

well he looks good on both versions(i'm a bigger fan of plate armor though), the "crush him" argument seems a little bit odd to me, i think that merely saying "it's for balancing reasons" would make more sense.

I think it's more that the barrel chest would be constricted by the weight. I didn't push too far.

well we dont have an anthro bird to test it out to be sure so i guess its a possibility
