Description Alright, here we have yet another example of the practicing in anime I've done lately with help from the excellent tutorials at polykarbon.com. I think this one turned out fairly well, especially considering how much I used to suck at drawing full bodies. Probably could have done a better job on the head, and I had a slight mess up when I was inking and made the pattern on the front of her outfit a little too close to her inner thigh on the left leg (your right). Aside from those two trouble spots, I think she looks pretty nice

Her head, like you said, is much too small, and so is her neck... And her shoulders are a little too prominant, even for a muscular woman. Otherwise, it's very, good. I especially like the feminininity of her pose with the feet close, the jutting hip, and the graceful right hand.

One thing, though... You have a very comic-book body, and an anime head -- two things that usually don't go very well together. Anime tends to slim down figures while, say Marvel comics buffs them up. If you gave her more of a American comic-esque head, the image would be much more effecive. But that, of course, is my opinion.

The tutorials definitely have helped you get a good sense of anatomy, bu they can only take you so far so fast, you know?

Yeah, I kind of see what you mean about a "comic-book" body, as anime tends to display women a lot more effeminently than comics. But I think I can blame the tutorial for it looking like that I agree that tutorials can only take you so far... I only wanted to do these for practice. I'm done with tutorials for now. I'm working on developing my own unique style. Thanks for the comment.

I'll defenetly agree on the head part... it's just way too small for her own good. It's deffenetly an improvement, but you've still got a long way to go IMO. Personaly I think you should focus on the more skinny form of the body seeing as how her form just seems a tad abnormal.

I don't want to point out all the faults mainly because this is a grand step up from what we've normaly seen from ya! Just keep practicing and eventually over time you'll be beyond this level! Keep it up or something?
