Back to practicing macro photography again.--------------
The shape of the plant reminded me of the shape of a heart.

There were about 12 images focused together in this picture.
I left the cobwebs and the fibers of the plant for a couple reasons.
I enjoy the small details through the cracks and cobwebs of life.
Some of the blur spots are bokeh created by the plant and moisture.
These little buds and flowers are tiny and hard to focus on.
The focal point is supposed to be the middle bud / flower which is why the title of the picture.
A lot of the times I don't use a tripod and the pictures would probably be better if I did.
I make the best of the situation when I don't have time for a tripod.
I believe this plant is called a Spiraea Japonica, Japanese Spiraea, Japanese Meadowsweet, or Little Princess.
They typically bloom in late spring through the summertime.
The plant is considered edible.
It is used as herbal medicine to help with various ailments.
The flower head contains salicylic acid which is used to treat pain and inflammation.
The plant is considered invasive as it grows rapidly.
It displaces native plants and impedes native seedlings.
