I've done some study on patterns of MS-s and noted that almost all of them are threefold. But the point of this study is not the "threefold" word... it's the "almost all" phrase. Now all of you should begin to remember about Shisui Uchiha and his mangekyō . Exactly, it's pattern is fourfold... It should be noted that this particular sharingan exceeds all of its kind. Even the eternal mangekyō of Madara Uchiha , that eventually turned into the ultimate eye of Rinnegan, does not have equally powerful technique to Shisui's Kotoamatsukami. Thus I drew a conclusion that some eminently powerful MS-s manifests itself with a fourfould design. In that case I drew next conclusion that, given enough time, sharingan with a potential to become such MS would eventually acquire the fourth tomoe.
