Description
A dystopia is a society ... an expression of organization and order ... gripped by injustice and decay ... an expression of chaos. I chose rectangles to symbolize order and social structure, but painted them in a disorganized messy style with mottled colors, fading overlaps, and broken edges to symbolize the chaos just underneath.This is also an experiment with trying a different approach to abstract compared to my other works. I wanted to try geometric shapes and bold primary colors - which seems to be a fairly popular form of abstract.
