Hi,This is the final version of the sidewalk thing I drew, it's totally drawn with a Bic pen, and it was like......5 - 7 hours of work in total....I took my sketchbook with me to school and stuff every day and drew ten mins in this lesson, 5 mins in a break and stuff....
The last things added are the reflection in the water, some shadow and some little details
I worked on it on these dates:

- 8 November
- 9 November
- 10 November
- 11 November
The changes on the 9th, 10th and 11th were so little that I decided to not scan those, but after the 11th when I completed it.

I showed it to my drawing teacher, who liked it and said that it a;so a very good Idea for a lino cut, tho it'd but very hard as I have to copy my own drawing and cut stuff out with the smallest lino knife thing....maybe I'm gonna do a lino cut of this when I have time....:]

Heb ik ook n tijdje gehad, echt n half jaar lang was ik vergeten dat k t had, en toen dacht k n keer zovan oja ik heb dA, en toen ging k in veveelmomenten weer es online en "herontdekte" ik t soortvan, zovan hm, tis bestwel leuk toch eigenlijk...xD

Yeah, and we have those streetlights still on holland too, not everywhere but some parts or the pld part of Rotterdam or Amsterdam still have those lights, and in theme parks they also have 'em alot

yeah, I do think that Holland is a lot like the UK

Yeah, although an awful lot of Dutch people do know English.

Yeah, cos you get English for the first time in primary school, when you're about 10. I got my first English lesson when I was 8 or something, singing songs and learning to count and stuff. And cos I do Cambridge English my English has improved a lot, this is my third year and this year I'm gonna do my First Certificate exam, and after that I want to do Advanced Cambridge English for the certificate that comes after that.

Sounds awesome. I do like the idea of learning another language and I tried to learn French but never got the hang of it...

I've never actually done a linograph, but my art class did once (my teacher made me make a mask, so I didn't get to do it). Seems like it would be a very complex linograph though.
I like the final drawing! IT could use a little more contrast, but it still looks good!

I dunnit once and I'm doing one now, I think so too :]
You should try once, it's nice to do, you gotta be very carefull not to cut in your fingers...xD And you have to paint the parts you don't wanna cut out black when you're don drawing...and you're hands get really stiff from th cutting
Thank you!!! I know, but when I compared the scan to the original work in my sketchbook I saw there IS more contrast, the scanner just didn't show it D: xD

Yeah, I remember it being a complex project for them. Perhaps some day I'll get my chance
And I hate when the scanner does stuff like that. Mine casts shadows on a lot of my drawings (at least the ones in the one moleskine)

Yeah, ikr? At the middle at the point the 2 pages are bound, you gotta almost sit on your booklet to not make them show and not do weird hings xD

oh wow I love the detail you put on it, one thins is that you could have put a little more of contrast in the drawing, but besides that its great!

Thank you! Well yeah, I thought about that too, but with just a ball point pen it's really hard to get different tones, especially when you try to add shadow with blue in an overall blue drawing

what you could try to do is to mix black pen with blue pen, but use the black lightly, and that will make the blue seem darker

That's true, but I wanted to use ONLY ONE PEN!!! xD I lost the pen trice a day and was totally stressed every time I lost it xD
