Ah, then it was just me projecting our current weather onto a picture. Its coming into Autumn here and its damp and cold out, as well as getting dark really early! I had to start wearing a head lamp on my evening run just so i dont get hit by a car again!

We are coming into Autumn also but the last week has been like the summer very bright and hot, but last night 06/10/2015 we had a tremendous storm very windy and the rain bucked it down and now Wednesday the 7th it's sunny again.

I love a good rain storm! But i have always lived on a hill or high ground, so flooding wasn't a thing i dealt with. A lot of people in town get basement flooding around here

Yeah, agreed! It reminds me of when i was young and in theater, we got hit with quite a bad storm while we were all in practice and we got trapped in a school. The younger kids got really scared so i got sent out by the teacher to go round them up and get everyone in the same room. We told stories and colored until the power came back on and parents could get to us. I was so confused as of why the kids were scared.

I suppose you'd be right on the button there. Since i grew up rural i got really used to total darkness at night and the sounds of the sounds the corn fields made when the wind blew. Things like that scared my cousins and other kids from town. Even my mom, who also grew up rural, won't leave the house at night. She said i was always in the woods until it got quite dark. I don't consider myself brave at all, just rational. I know whats out there, and what isn't. The only mildly dangerous things we have in this specific area are the coyotes, and very rarely a lone wolf or bobcat. None of these things are going to come anywhere near a human, even if that human is an adolescent. And i never believed monsters were real... unlike my now 68 year old mom XD

I like you have always been adventurous and would stay out till dark, I also ran away from home twice and always ended up in the fixed fairground, I loved all the noise and lights, but the police always found me. One time I was caught sitting outside a TV rental shop which had a TV on in the window..HAHA

I never had anywhere to run away to, as a kid. So most the time i just stayed out in the woods, or went to my neighbors work shop. I built a fort in the woods, and worked hard on it. I would always be out with an ax and a hand saw, cutting up fallen and dead trees and basically making a log fortress XD

Not at all, as long as i brought them back when i was done. My dad only got mad when i would leave them there over night. They didn't really care what i did.

Its actually a replica of the hat the Australian guy wears in the first Jurassic park, but it served it purpose as a stand in for Indiana Jones, as well as my sisters leather jacket also served its purpose ._.
