Description Not really a wallpaper but the Typography category is really undernourished in options.

Yeah another thing that annoys me is that there's no "Graphic Design" section. The work I do never fits into any of deviantart's awful categories and as a result never gets any exposure because it's in some vague and unnoticed section.

I'm sure you have the same problem. I'd love to chuck my stuff in the section that i think represents the style best but i've had my deviations moved before.

As for this, it's awesome. I've been meaning to do stuff like this for a long time but I haven't had a quality camera on me when I saw a quality photograph. I never would have thought to use transparency in the text but it's an interesting look.

Hmmmm, I agree with your first statement there. I myself do not know how to catergorize my works every time I upload my stuff :S Just saying.

But anyway, this is awesome. I think it's simple, but that just adds to the fact of how awesome it is. Faved.

The category sysytem really needs a new section for design. I keep chucking my stuff in Mixed Media categories because nothing else fits. I guess its more an "Art" site but the shear volume of designers on here whould warrant more than a misformed "Typography" and an overstated "Designs and Interfaces" category.

And this photo is really a fluke, the camera was shithouse (some 5MP Kodak happysnapper) and it was really overcast. Somehow it cracked out a shot without too much grain and compression in it. The text was accidental, meant to change the lock on it but changed the blending instead. Not going to complain, came out looking better.

I'd kill for 5 megapixels when all I have on hand half the time is my 2mp iPhone. It's not even worth using unless it's broad daylight and you're taking a photo of a blank white wall or something.

Flukes always turn out best when you're designing. You only run out of chances when you stop taking them.

The only reason I had the camera that day was taking photos for a Uni assessment ([link] ). Camera phones are terrible though the iPhone is a little ahead of the pack.

I swear 90% of any designs I've done are purely the result of doing something wrong and then finding out it looked cooler that way.
