So very painterly it kind of takes the breath away. Looks like a magical place. Forests are usually a bit frightening, with the massive sizes of the trees and all that life going on ignoring humans. You managed to make this one seem friendly.

omg.. honestly, i'm from sweden, and i grew up in the countryside. this is the image i have in my mind from how the forest was when i was playing in it as a kid.. so magical that you are just waiting for the fariy to pop out from behind a tree and yell at the troll standing behind another tree..
i just stared at that for 3 min or something, letting my feelings overflow.

I adore this forest! reminds me some of our Polish forests but is so wonderfully green - different tone of green ! lovely! I imagine Ronja (A Lindgren's, my favourite heroine) exactly in the forest like that

is this a wide angle lens? It looks like it. I like the way the trees look 3D. Forests like this will always be amazing to me. I love the saturation as well.

You got pretty good depth with that 70mm. I need to take a long drive up to northern california...they have beautiful redwood forests there that are unreal.

I agree on the first comment on the DOF but in general it is a beautiful picture. I am yet to find a groce of trees that produce the clean lines you have captured.
