It makes me remember the art of the Maya, the faces are very similar to their glyps.

Yes, Thats it, they are Mayan glyphs , actual glyphs I found in various books that I liked.
I tweaked them a bit, but tried to keep them close. The Art of The Maya really resonates with me, I love it and it makes me happy to draw it.

ahhh, surrounded by monkeys , sounds like a magic moment for sure. a wonderful experience to have , when you hold their little monkey hand in yours and realize were are the same, our hands are the same, our eyes show the same emotions , our own behavior is not so different 
ahhh, ...but Red monkeys visiting during a ceremony , now that sounds like a wonderful moment to remember~!

a recipe's magical brew. our beings are the chunky
goos in the mysterious brew, and when mixed together
our visionary quests are definitely something special...
i do believe respectful appreciation may be the key sincerely feeling...
