My love for this movie forges on! The sisters Arendelle are without the shadow of a doubt my favorite character duo in (my personal) movie history, certainly my favorite Disney characters. I love them both equally, Anna because I relate to her and she's flipping adorable, and Elsa because...well, she's both boss and sympathetic for so many reasons, but mainly because I love my own older sister to bits so that carries over.

This image popped into my head the other day, and I couldn't shake it free. Anna and Elsa have a lot to repair between them, but I have no doubt that Anna is up to the challenge. That's right, Elsa, you have to deal with this all over again. But we all know she probably loves to dump snow on dignitaries as much as the next queen. ;]
EDIT: Congrats to the entire team behind Frozen for winning Best Animated Film at the Oscars! Fully deserved it! And to the Lopez family for "Let It Go" winning Best Original Song!

I'm just commenting on this again because one year later and it's still one of my absolute favorite Frozen pieces ever. I just love it so much, everything about it. Like, the fact it's a direct parallel from one of the absolute cutest moments in the film and also something that Elsa probably holds dear to her, the (obnoxious) but endearing way Anna used to wake her up when they were little, considering the fact it transferred into Olaf when he said "the sky is awake".
And the actual drawing itself of course is perfect. It's just too gorgeous. That lighting, the colors, the angle/perspective/composition. I'm just so in looove. And I'm so happy you drew it.
