Description Proteus Shepard, Space Marine,
faction: Alliance
race: human (genetically enhanced)

My mass effect character as a space marine (all mass effect belongs to bioware and any warhammer belongs to games workshop)

My character still has the traits of the shepard in my mass effect game, small difference from as a space marine is that there is no primarch. The character was once a normal human, earth born, before the leader of mankind, whose dream of uniting all of humanity, chose 17 individuals for their unique minds and not their military skills. The space marines were the vanguard elites, warriors just at the creation of the alliance. Gentically enhanced with specialised dna and gene implantation, they could live for several years. These 17 warriors were close brothers, even though they were forced to be seperated from family or friendly ties that they once had. They travelled the stars saving and defending humanity's colonies and worlds, especially from monstrous alien beasts and batarian pirates.
One grim outcome, their last mission was on a research facility that was testing warp drives prior to the discovery of the mass relays and prothean tech. The research station went dark, lost contact, 3 military teams were sent and none returned. At this time, the leader of mankind abdicates the throne for the oranised government of the alliance and the space marines are sent in to find out what has gone wrong with the research station. Turns out that some horrible accident involving opening a door to an alternate dimension has released a creature that has caused corruption throughout the station, spreading like a taint and exposed humans turn into monsters of the dark twisted will. The marines fight a desperate battle to gain full control of the station, several brothers die within the first second, while others sacrifice their lives. Unthinkable that such warriors can easily fall. Worse still that one of their own betrays them. Few in numbers, they devide into groups, Shepard is forced to execute the traitor despite having a close friendship with him. Seeing sense, he kills the trator and banishes the dark entity back into the portal, closing it forever with a dark wanring and abbandons the station with only 3 of his brothers left. The space marines are but myths, legends but Proteus Shepard lives with a heavy weight, knowing that his closest brothers died to save his life, the other three, one is now admiral of a grand alliance fleet while the other two cannot join any battle. Today, he bears the names of his fallen battle brothers on small scripts of paper attacthed to his power pack.

But Shepard is still able to fight, despite the loss he wont give up. He is a space marine. He is Steel and Doom. He Knows No Fear.

Folowing up towards the events of mass effect (1) he joins the Normandy under alliance admiral Anderson. He survives yet another disature during the Skyllian Blitz on the human colony of Elysium in 2176. Shepard was given command of a small alliance task force and led his way towards several objectives, defending the world for 2 years. However, during the last defence to hold off a massive force of ground and fleet baring batarian pirates, the task force was orderd to hold the main space port. The entire team was killed in the defense except the space marine. Shepard held of the invaders with stern determination, strong will and fierce combat skills. He managed to fight off an entire batarian pirate ground force for 5 whole days without any rest. Eventually, the alliance won a great victory. The succsessful defence lead to the military strentgh of the alliance and Shepared was venerated as an offical 'War Hero'. Shepard was then to be selected as the first human 'spectre' amongst the council, who only just started to take notice in the human race.

Soon, Proteus Shepard would find the prothean artifact to give him the visions of the so called reapers. He would recruit the finest crew the galaxy had to offer and would hunt down the rogue Saren.

fall in love with a quarian, befriend a turian, asari and krogan, fight the cerberus dogs, hordes of mercenaires, heretical geth, make difficult choices that would cause a man to crumble in despair and save the galaxy in the name of all the united races.

is that a heavy bolter? or a standard, run of the mill bolter?

custom made bolter, with different types ammunition and alterations to range. A heavy bolter would require two hands to operate, even for a space marine

plot-holes? lol if your unhappy with the ending, make it up yourself. That's what I do. Play the game space marine and see how amazing you are in close combat and using weapons in which the bullet is the size of your hand!

otherwise, don't really take the mickey out of the space marines, despite the fact for their speeches, they are still brilliant killing machines

I love Space Marine. That game was badass.

As for the ending of ME3: i don't really care anymore. I was just making a J-O-K-E.

Ha.

Ha ha.

Humor is power. Hide it well.

I already did.

In my ending, Shepard tells the god child to go fu*! himself, uses the crucible to destroy only the reapers, and goes off into the sunset with his love interest (Tali.

The end.

No plot twists. No laughably bad attempts at "art". Just a cliched happy ending.

I wonder why bioware didn't just go with that?

After watching the movie ultramarine, I like the phrase, "know no fear" so like the bit were a hero space marine banishes a deamon with his warhammer, and so my shepard shouts out the words; "My choice has already been made. You think that one can easily control the individual? I have hope and bear no false hopes. I am steel! I am doom! I march for the universe AND I KNOW NO FEAR!" (then shoots at the control module for the destroy bit.)

As being a genetically modified human, he would survive the burn up of the citadel, just looses a portion of his armour and his left arm which then my Tali makes a prosthetic.

HA!

I like your ending.

If bioware ever did a Warhammer/Mass effect crossover, i'd consider buying it.

Brother! The asari filth are attempting to sabotage the god-Shepards battle barge!

Filthy Xenos! prepare to attack the blue skins!

FOR THE SHEPARD! FOR THE ALLIANCE OF MAN!

now I like the aliens in mass effect, no bad insults to aliens otherwise we would of not been able to unify the galaxy.

my shepard accepts the alien in this age.

but don't mess with me when it comes to close combat

Epic! I'm designing a Space Marine army right now based on the Alliance, and then one based on Cerberus, and I'm hoping to use plasticard to make omniblades for some captains and the like, and paint the veteran company up as N7 troops. This is inspiring stuff, great job!

Hell, the reapers would probably soil themselves if they were engaged by the indignant fury that is a Space Marine Chapter(Space Wolves would do nicely). I mean, given the cosmic horrors that the Astartes have to fight as part of their daily routine, I doubt a few flying crustaceans with shiny lasers would present a grea threat. Even the men of the Imperial Guard seem a bit more durable than the Alliance Marines, and that is telling lol.

after playing space marine, imagine the awsome execution moves. take one of em cerberus troops on the ground and then crush his skull with a huge stamp of the foot. Or even run up to one of those large reaper monsters, swing ontop ofits back and plunge the chainsword right through its head. LOL
