Second painting for a friend's cafe. It's up next to its sibling now :3Dacelo novaeguineae- The largest member of the kingfisher family and best known for its iconic laughing call, mocking humanity from on high. If you want to summon one of these birds, throw a barbecue. They love barbecue.
This one was a jerk to photograph. All of them require experimenting with lighting conditions and a little tweaking for the screen, but then there are those paintings that have this stupid glare on them no matter what I do. DX It's as clean as I can get it with Photoshop

The colors are indeed vibrant, and really contrast the birbs. The blue is very rich and soothing, like great-Skua said. But the details really pop, and the eye is trained to the subject piece, the birds. Good luck with getting it sold. I wanna say I could see this in a doctors office or someplace similar, where it would help people to relax or reflect gently. But really, it could go anywhere.

This looks really nice I like the lighting it's very soothing and the birds have quite a bit of emotion I wonder what they are thinking
