Description

The day is August 12th, the current location is the Digital District and Connie Wright is showing her friend Kai Leone around the district since this is his first time in Connie's world.

"So, what do you think of the place, pretty cool right?" Connie said as she was walking back to her facility with Kai walking beside her

"It most definitely is! Thanks for showing me around again, there are lots of cool people as well, especially that trainer with the really long feet hehe, his name was Wilbur, right? It'll be funto train with him" Kai said with a spring in his step

"Heh, you have a point, most people use his feet as balance boards, but after sharing some experiences with you, that's not the only thing you'll be using his feet for~" Connie playfully teased

Kai blushed from her comments, "W-well..umm...I can't say you're wrong hehe."

"Oh I know, I'm never wrong, why do you think my name is Connie Wright?" Connie looked back and winked at him before reaching and entering her facility. "Most of the others are busy today though, so you're with me again!"

"Yay! I know you best out of everyone here so that's perfectly fine with me!" Kai said with a big smile on his face

Connie chuckled at him and ruffled his hair, "Alright you cute blue goofball, since your gonna be with me for the day, we're going on an adventure through worlds! And since I'm in a good mood, I'll let you choose the location." She pulled him over to the big selection of digital worlds that they could travel to.

"R-really? That's kind of you to do, thanks" Kai smiled softly and had a soft blush glowing on his face from Connie's cute comment.

Kai looked through the large gallery of options as Connie watched him, he wasn't sure which option to take as there were a number of good ones, but there was one that his eyes always looked back at after very few seconds, so he took it and showed it to Connie, "H-how about this one?" His shy little voice sounded out

Connie took the box and looked at it, "Sandalwood world..S.S Soft Serve? Hmm..." she was considering it and they looked down at Kai, "Well, if it's where you want to go, let's do it!" She took the disc out of the box and started to set up the screen for another travel.

"T-thank you very much Connie" Kai said softly as he gave her a little hug from behind, Connie blushed a little herself from the little surprise hug, she smiled as she did the final finishing touches, all she needed to do was hit the transfer button. "Aw come here you!" She got up and gave Kai a big hug before hitting the transfer button. Both Connie's and Kai's bodies started to turn into digital matter and were sucked into the screen to complete the digital transfer from the Digital District to the world of Sandalwood.

It was a very good day in the world of Sandalwood as the sun was shining, the birds were chirping, lots of people were walking and having a good time, but no one would expect for it to start raining humans as the digital matter that was Kai and Connie reformed into their physical forms a few feet into the air, they looked at each other for a moment before looking at the ground and how far away it was before looking at each other again and gulping before starting to descend. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-" was the sounds coming from the duo as they screamed all the way down until they landed in a big bush which thankfully broke their fall a little.

"Owww..." whined Kai a little as he sat up, still in the arms of Connie from the hug as they travelled."#

"W-wow, are you okay Kai?" Connie asked as she inspected him, not wanting her friend to be hurt during his first travel.

"Y-yea, I'm pretty sure the bush and the hug broke the fall, so thank you. And are you okay?" Kai asked with his voice sounding shaky

"Yea, all's good, but I did lose my sandals though" she said as she stretched her legs out to show her now bare feet, her nails still rocking the red polish that also paints her finger nails. "But are you sure you're okay? You sound pretty shaken up. Come on, lets walk it off and explore this place, sound good?" Connie said softly as she got up and offered Kai a hand

Kai took a deep breath and took Connie's hand, getting help up. "Y-yea, thank you" he smiled softly as Connie smiled back and they got out of the bush and started to take a stroll through this new world. Although it was a new world, it was full of things they had already seen such as buildings, people and the sorts, but there were a few cool looking ships flowing on the water, the walk certainly helped Kai calm down as he was feeling better and admiring the scenery, Connie was just happy to see Kai feeling better as she felt the cool pavement on her soles.

"Say, when I was reading what this place contained, it talked about how this place serves really good desserts and the likes, maybe we could find it and see if it's the real deal?" Connie suggested

"Oh-that sounds pretty nice! Hopefully they have outside tables too so we can watch the ships sail by" Kai said happily and started to look around for the place, and lckily enough, there seemed to be an ice cream store nearby with a group of people outside, "Is that it over there?"

"Hmm, only one way to find out I guess, come on, lets go!" Connie picked up the pace and started making her way over to the place along with Kai. As they got closer, the sign saying "S.S Soft Serve" above the building was more visible. "Yep, that's definitely the place, first one there has to pay!" Connie said as she let go of Kai's hand and started running over, Kai was a little surprised but started running too, "Hey-that's not fair!"

The final member of the gang joined the others waiting by the front door of the S.S. Soft Serve, "Alright, is that everyone now?" Keya said, "Okay, now we can start..the..." As she was about to start, she saw Connie and Kai running in the distance and that stopped her "begin?"

The duo reached the store with Connie just winning the race, "I won! That means you pay Kai~" Connie teased as she looked back at Kai triumphantly"

"Aw come on, but you got a head start..can't we split the pay?" Kai replied, trying to make his case.

Everyone from the crew looked at each other in confusion before Jing spoke up, "Umm...can we help you?"

"Oh-yes, we heard this place has some of the best sweet desserts in the city and we'd like to buy some!" Connie replied

"Ooooo-well you are right, but we are closed today" Nella, the 'captain' of the S.S. Soft Serve told them"

"Aww...why?" Kai asked with a hint of sadness in his voice

"Aww, don't be upset little one, it's for a special occasion and it'll be open again tomorrow" Nella said as she gave Kai some head pats, making him smile a little.

"Alright, hopefully this special occasion brings a nice day for you all. Come on Connie, let's keep browsing the land Kai said as he started to walk away from the others, Connie quickly followed him and pulled him to the side of the parlour. "Connie? What are you-"

She put a finger to his lips to shush him, "Quiet now, we said we'd get dessert and we aren't gonna walk away with nothing, special occasion or not" Connie whispered

"B-but they said we can come back tomorrow, right?" Kai whispered back

"We may not come back tomorrow, that's the thing" Connie whispered in response as he took Kai's hand, "Now come on, let's get our desserts."

As Connie started to walk, Kai stopped her, "W-wait, I hear them talking, can't we listen to what they are saying in case this special occasion is the real deal or not?" Kai asked softly

"Alright then, but they better not be lying or anything" Connie replied as she got to the end of the side with Kai to listen to what the gang had to say and peek at them while doing so.

What they saw was Keya, the girl with green hair and sunglasses, acting as the leader by speaking up first "...ready? That's great Hannah! We have our pie cake and-" "I think we missed the start" Kai whispered to Connie, "Quiet" Connie whispered back as she went back to listen in on the discussion. "light the candles Keya" the pumpkin looking person said as a flame appeared from his fingers, "Great to hear Jack! Next up on the agenda is presents, were you able to get all the gifts to her house Rocky?" Keya asked as she turned to the buff looking guy with a plaster on his nose, "Mhm! Everyone’s gift is there" Rocky replied as he gave a thumbs up. "Wonderful! Hopefully none of the gifts were too difficult for you to carry. Next on the agenda is food-Duncan, Fortuna, Nina, did you all take care of the sweet treats?" "Yep, we have a few trays of Duncan's glazes and cookies" Nina said as Duncan and Fortuna smiled, "And did you two get the savoury stuff sorted out? Pepi, Shawn?" "You know it Keya, they're still being made but I told the others to deliver the Pizzas to *Jess' home location and number* so they'll be there" Shawn said. "Brilliant! We're gonna make sure Jess has the best birthday ever!" Jess said with happiness in her voice. "It does all sound pretty good, but it feels like something is missing" Chip said as he did a little thinking face, "Hm, what would that be?" Keya questioned, "A Spanish Pie, Jess was the creator of that and I'm sure she'd love that" Chip replied. "I volunteer to get the Spanish Pie for her!" Gary quickly said, "Sorry to burst your bubble Gary, but by the time we all get the finishing details sorted and when Jess leaves the pie factory, there won't be enough time for us to get a box to hide you in, whipped cream and be all back at the house when Keya walks home with Jess" Barry said, seemingly having calculated all the times in his head, "Yea, sorry Gary, but I'd rather have everyone wish Jess a happy birthday at the same time so we should stick to the plan" Kaya told him. "Aw...alright" Gary said in a dejected tone.

"A birthday huh? Looks like this adventure has reached the fun stage~" Connie said with a mischievous look on her face, "W-well, don't you think we should leave it? I..I mean, we aren't her friend, we just heard about it now and we probably wouldn't be welcome" Kai replied nervously. "Aw come on Kai, look at the bright side of things: we can be the 'surprise guests', I can return to the Digital District and get some gifts and stuff and you can do this Spanish Pie thing and make this Jess person happy, sound good?" Connie said, trying to put a positive spin on things, "Well..I guess you're right, but how do we know what a Spanish Pie is and stuff?"

"Oh, and did you lock up the place, Gary?" Asked Keya, "Yea yea.." Gary replied, still sounding dejected, "Are you sure Gary? Because we all know how forgetful you can be'' Nella said, knowing what sort of antics he gets up to, "I promise I did!" Gary said, knowing in his head that he locked the place. "Okay, we have a few hours to complete the plan, let’s do this everyone!"

They all cheered and started walking to the side Kai and Connie were hiding, "Crap-they're coming, what do we do?" Kai asked worriedly, "Emmm...over there!" Connie quickly took Kai's hand and rushed over to hide behind a dumpster, and thankfully for them they weren't spotted, but maybe they could've chosen a better place to hide...

"Oh, just wondering Coco but what did you do with the bad batch of marshmallows?" Keya asked as she was messaged about some marshmallows being messed up, "The marshmallows? I was throwink them in the dumpster when I came here" Coco replied, "Which dumpster?" Keya asked curiously, "Ze S.S. Soft Serve one" Coco replied again, "But our dumpster is a little bust and the mallows could leak" Nella told her, "ekh, eto teper' ne nasha problema".

The Russian was the last thing Kai and Connie heard before the group were out of hearing range. "Umm..what did they say about bad marshmallows and a bust dumpster?" Kai questioned, and Connie had am question of her own, "Umm...Kai, is it just me or does the ground feel a little weird?" Connie pushed the dumpster away and the white, marshmallowy ground behind/under the dumpster was now revealed to the duo, and they were both stuck! "W-what the heck?!" Conne was caught a little off guard and tried to lift her right foot, only to see thick strands of gooey marshmallow cling to her sole and pull her foot back down into the sticky trap. "Umm...well that's put a problem into our plan, a sticky one nonetheless" Kai commented as he saw the thick white mallow cling to the bottoms of his football boots.

"Aw come on, we can't be stuck here, we need to prepare for a party!" Connie said, a bit frustrated as she continued to try and free herself, her left foot going up, the mallow stuck to the sole before pulling it back down, then her right foot went up and gave a similar result to her left foot. Kai does the same and gets similar results, but he could lift his feet higher than Connie could. "Jeez..if you have a bust dumpster, why don't you replace it?" Kai questioned, "Forget that how can someone make marshmallows this sticky?!" Connie questioned herself as she saw and felt the marshmallow stuff squish between her toes, making her get more stuck and barely able to pull her feet up anymore. "Darn...what can we do here?" Kai asked as he continued to try and free himself with stretching noises being heard with each attempt. "Wait-Kai, you have shoes on, just take them off and jump to safety!" Connie said, a bit confused as to why Kai didn't do that a few minutes ago, "O-oh, good idea Connie" Kai said softly as he untied his laces, stepped out of his shoes and jumped to the safe pavement.

"Alright, now it's time to get you out" Kai said as he walked over to Connie's side, "Now-give me your hands so I can pull you out" Connie looked at him and smiled, taking his hands and holding on tight. "Ready!" "Okay-one..two...three!" Kai started to pull and take steps back, hoping the mallow would break free from Connie's soles, but, surprisingly-it didn't, it continued to cling to her soles, stretched however far Connie was pulled and eventually won the battle, pulling Connie back in. "Wow...that's some seriously strong stuff, it's almost like glue" Kai said, wondering how the marshmallows could be that sticky. "I know..it's way stickier than the stuff we use...wait-remember what we used to free ourselves sometimes when we get stuck in marshmallow?" Connie told him, "Hmm...water?" Kai answered, unsure as they use different methods to get unstuck, "Yes! Water, all we need is water" Connie said, being sure it would work. "Hopefully, but-where would we get water?" Kai questioned. "Connie thought for a moment and then remembered something from the conversation as the group left, "Wait-Kai, I know it's a shot in the dark, but what if that Gary person didn't lock the parlour? You heard how he can be forgetful" Kai looked at her like she was a genius, "Great idea! Now all we need is hope and for no one to see me" Kai said as he walked around to the front of the parlour and to the front door, he took a deep breath and put his hand on the door and gently pushed it...and the door slowly opened. "Yes! Thank you Gary for being forgetful" Kai said to himself as he opened the door and went inside. The inside of the parlour looked quite nice as it had some nice pirate themed designs inside, but Kai wasn't here to admire the scenery, he was here to get water to free his friend. "If I was to get water, where would I look?" He looked around and saw a sign that said 'Employee's only' and got a notion, "Welp-looks like I'm an employee for a few minutes" Kai said as he walked through the door and saw a kitchen of sorts with lots of freezers, ice cream related treats, and, most importantly-a sink!

"Yes! This is perfect" Kai said as he got a cleaning basin that was next to the sink and filled it up with a mix of warm and cold water and filled it 3/4 full so he could still carry it without risk of spilling any and getting his socks wet. He got back outside and walked around the side and saw the stuck Connie, still struggling to free her feet, until she saw Kai. "Kai! Was it open? Did you get the water?" Connie questioned, "I mean-what do you think this is?" Kai replied in a joking tone as he walked over to her, "Now-this may get wet" Kai said as he started to pour the water from the basin onto the marshmallow and Connie's feet, Connie winced a little from the initial feeling of the water hitting her feet and started to feel the grip of the mallow weaken around her soles and she was able to lift her feet up higher than before until the strands were able to snap and her feet were free. "Hehe, thank you so much my hero~" Connie teased as she hugged Kai, Kai blushed and hugged back, "A-any time, b..but we don't really have any time to waste with the party stuff" Kai said. "Oh-yea, let’s get to work!" Connie said as she took Kai's hand and took them both back into the parlour and Kai showed her where the kitchen was so they could make some Spanish Pies.

"Alright, Spanish Pie...how do we make it?" Connie questioned, "I have absolutely no clue-" Kai admitted before he took out his phone and looked up what a Spanish Pie was, Connie watched him while he did so and was confused as to why he started to blush, "Umm, you okay there?" Connie asked, "Y-yep" Kai quickly said in his shy little voice, "Can I see the Spanish Pie stuff?" Connie questioned, but Kai shook his head no, not wanting to show her whats on the phone, "Aw come on, what's so bad about it~?" Connie asked as she tried to take the phone, "N-no Connie" "Seriously Kai, come on~" the two had a little playful scuffle before Connie eventually got the phone and saw what a Spanish Pie was. "Ooooo-so it isn't actually a pie?" Connie said confusingly, "N-nope" replied Kai in an embarassed tone, "Eh, we can still make it happen, and I know just the guy to make it work~" Connie said as she looked down at Kai, causing him to blush. "Y-you want me to do it?! C-can't you? Y..your more comfortable with doing stuff like this" Kai quickly said as he tried to make his case, "I would be, but my feet are still a little dirty and sticky and yours are clean, safe and sound~ and I'm sure this Jess person will love a Spanish Pie on your feet~ speaking of which, let's reveal them~" Connie teased again. Kai was a little hesitant at first, but then took off his long football socks to reveal his soft and cute looking feet, the nails still painted black and blue. "S-so, what now?" Kai shyly questioned, "We decorate your feet with Spanish Pie of course!" Connie said happily as she looked around for the ingredients, but was a little disappointed after searching as she found nothing. "Okayyy-so we may not have what we need, I'm gonna go back to the District and get what we need and a few other things, I won't be too long Kai, promise" She winked at the boy before transfering herself back as Kai sat alone in the kitchen. While he waited for Connie to return, he got a tub of vanilla ice cream from the freezer and started to eat it. "..mmm~ this ice cream is really tasty."

After about 20 minutes of waiting, Kai heard the front door open and he went to inspect, and he was glad to see Connie back, and she had a pretty big looking box in her hands that was a purple-blue in colour and had lavender polka-dots all around it, "Hey! Great to see you back, did you get everything you needed?" Connie smiled and nodded her head, "Mhm! I got blueberry stuff, some shoes, cutlery, a chef hat, apron, a pie and a bottle of growtion." "Great! But-what is the bottle of growtion for? What even is growtion?" Kai questioned, "Oh y'know, it contains a liquid that makes whatever it's rubbed into grow in size, and if we want to give the birthday girl a big surprise, we're gonna need a big pair of feet~" Connie's words caused Kai to blush as red as a tomato, "A-are you serious? ...fine, w-we'll do it, b-but is it reversible?" Kai asked, "Of course it is, you have nothing to worry about!" Connie reassured him. "A-alright, let's do it” Kai said as he put his feet up in front of Connie, she admired his soles for a moment before pouring 3/4 of the bottle over his feet and started to massage them to rub it in. "Y'know, t-this feels kinda nice" Kai softly admitted as he relaxed, Connie smiling while looking at him, "There we go, all is calm and good~ you need to learn how to take a chill pill sometimes Kai" Connie said before giggling, "Heh, I guess your rigeeee-" as he was talking, Kai was cut off by a weird feeling in his feet and soon enough, they started to grow in size! "Seems like the growtion is working" Connie said, having felt the effects of growtion before. In a matter of seconds, Kai's feet had grown much bigger than their original size.

"W-wow, they are pretty big" Kai admitted, looking at his new sized stompers with a soft blush on his face, "Mhm, but they're still as adorable as ever~" Connie said teasingly as she gave his right foot a little tickle, "Hehehehey!" Kai burst into a little fit of giggles, it seems like the bigger they were, the more sensitive they are. "Heh, I gotta use this stuff more often~ but now we have our size sorted, let's make ourselves some Spanish Pie! Oh-I nearly forgot, before we do-" she took out the apron and chef hat from the box "I'm gonna need you to put these on and be a wonderful model for Jess' new kitchen gear~" Kai took them and obliged, putting the apron on first and then the chef hat. "Y'know, you'd make a pretty good worker here Kai hehe, and now you should probably get in the box before I make the pie so it isn't harder to get in when your feet get all pied up." Kai understood where she was coming from so he got into the box and laid on his belly, bending his knees so his large feet could be decorated, "A-alright, let's get down to business."

Connie first got some blueberry stuff and covered Kai's soles until no skin could be seen, then she got some bit of pie and crumbled it up to place the bits on Kai's feet. "Ah-I forgot the whipped cream, but how will we get a-" then she saw the ice cream "...replacement?" As she walked over to got it, Kai tried to reassure her, I-It'll be fine Connie, f-forgetting one part won't beEEEEEEEE-" he was cut off and got a shiver down his spine as he felt a cold circle was felt on the centre of his soles, "W-what is that?!" He yelped, "Well, jus some ice cream, thanks for the idea if you left it out~" Connie smiled as Kai's teeth chittered a little, "And we can't forget the cherries on top~" she said as she placed 2 cherries on Kai's toes. "And now you have yourself some delicious Spanish Pie~" Connie said proudly, "Y..y..yea, b-but let's get to J-J-Jess' place, we don't h-h-have much time to waste" Kai eventually got out and without a moment's notice, Connie started to push along the box since she couldn't carry it due to the weight of Kai.

After getting the location on Google Maps and taking the journey to Jess' home, they both arrived at the location. "And here we are!" Connie said, "H-hopefully we are as I wouldn't know from views hehe" Kai joked, seemingly haven gotten used to the cold ice cream on his feet. "Wait here a moment, I'm going to check" said Connie as she went to the door and tried to open it, but it was locked, "Darn!v Guess we'll have to wait Kai, door is locked" she said as she walked back to the box, "O-okay, will we hide until someone opens the door?" Kai asked, "Yep, there's another bush over here so we'll hide until Jess gets back." Connie once again pushed the box with Kai inside over to the bush to hide. After waiting for 5 minutes, Connie looked at Kai's Spanish Pie covered feet, she couldn't resist and gave his heel a lick, "EEP-d..did you just take a lick?" Kai asked shyly, "Sorry, couldn't resist~."

After another 10 minutes of waiting, Connie eventually saw 2 people walking towards the house and gave Kai's box a little shake, "This might be it, keep quiet-" Connie whispered as she peeked through the bush to listen in on the conversation. "I'm glad you could join me on my birthday," said Jess happily. "Sure thing," replied Keya. "What are best friends for?" "This'll be fun! What should we do?" "Oh, you'll see..." Keya was as cool and confident sounding as ever. Little did Jess know the kind of evening they would have in store. Jess arrived at her house with Keya by her side. With a large smile on her face, Jess grabbed her key and unlocked her door. When she opened her door, the dark room instantly lit up. "SURPRISE!!!" All of Jess and Keya's Sandalwood friends jumped out from behind the furniture, tossing balloons and confetti into the air. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JESS!" Jess's smile became one of shock for a moment before growing into an even bigger grin. Keya had planned her a big birthday party all along, and she couldn't have been happier! "Aw, Keya, thank you," said the overjoyed baker. "This is perfect, all of our friends, a beautiful birthday pie, and so many gifts!" Connie watched it all unfold and heard a good bit of confirmation, "Come on, let's see you cut the birthday pie in the Kitchen!" As she heard those words, she pushed the box towards the house and took a peek through the door to see no one in the living room. "Great, they must all be in the kitchen. Okay Kai, this is it, I'll place you with the rest of the gifts and hide, then when Jess opens the gift and sees you, I'll jump out and go 'surprise' and stuff, then we'll be the surprise guests~ got it?" Connie said seeing Kai give a thumbs up allowed her to push the gift box over to the others and closed it so Kai wouldn't be spotted before she hid behind the sofa. In the box, Kai was a little nervous for how things would unfold.

As they all returned from the kitchen, Jess looked at all of the gifts. Each one was wrapped in colourful paper, corresponding to one of Jess's equally colorful friends. Hannah Peele's was tall, yellow, and decorated with bananas. Cookie Crumbel's looked like a giant chocolate chip cookie with a bow around it. Jack O' Carver's had Halloween wrapping paper, orange in colour and decorated with spiders. Nella Khone's was as blue as the sea and covered in little anchors. And the heart-shaped box with the strawberries just had to be from that little flirt, Gary Straw. Jess had fun seeing whose gift was whose based on the boxes alone. All of a sudden, she spotted a mysterious gift box. It was a purple-blue colour, like her hair, with lavender polka-dots all around it. Looks like something Jess herself would wrap, but it was a gift for her! The more interesting part was that this box was much larger than the rest, about as tall as Keya! "Wow, this one is huge," exclaimed Jess. "I wonder what it could be..." "Hm," Keya thought to herself. "I don't remember that one." Everyone at the party seemed stumped, or at least acted stumped. Nobody knew for sure who brought this large mystery gift. Nonetheless, Jess was dying of curiosity. She stepped towards the box, slowly unwrapping it...

"What the-" Jess was very surprised as she opened the gift as she first saw the boy with the big feet and that caused the others to worry a little, "What's in it Jess?!" The group asked, before they were met with their own surprise of Connie jumping from behind the sofa and shouting "SURPRISEEE!!!" "W-What is going on?" Jess asked in a confused tone, "Wait..aren’t you the girl at the S.S. Soft Serve, what are you doing here?!" Keya asked, not wanting Jess' birthday to get ruined by two strangers.

"You see, whenever we were leaving, I pulled Kai to the side of the parlour as I didn't want to leave without some ice cream, but Kai convinced me to listen instead of act, then we overheard all the birthday plans and we decided to do up the Spanish Pie because none of you could, we also got some additional gifts as you can see" Connie explained, "Okay, but why did you want to want to do something for people you've never met and how come we didn't see you when we walked past?" Barry asked, a little confused like all the others, "Well-it wasn't really me that wanted to do this, I was more so thinking of him as he always wants to help people, no matter if they are strangers or people he knows, and we hid behind the dumpster, but then got stuck in some bad marshmallow" Connie said as she glanced over at Coco, "Apologies, but I didn't know you would have hidden there, but how did chu escape?" Coco asked, "And you wanted to do all this for me?" Jess asked Kai, "Y-yes, b..but it was Connie's idea to b-become "special guests" here a-and I had shoes on s..so I was able to get out of them to get water from the sink in your kitchen, a..and thanks for not locking the door G-Gary" Kai said shyly as everyone from the crew looked at Gary. "What? I wasn't in the right mood to lock a door" Gary pouted, "S-so I'll understand if you d..don't want us here" Kai said softly.

"Not want you here? Don't be so silly sweetie, this was quite a kind gesture from you and your friend, and you can stay and enjoy the party" Jess said with a smile as she asked Rocky to lift him out from the box and sat him on the ground before giving him a hug, to which Kai smiled softly and hugged her back. "Aww, that's cute!" Said Nella, "Looks like Jess has made a new friend" joked Jack, "...why couldn't that be me?" Whispered Gary under his breath. "What are we waiting for then? Lets enjoy!" Connie said, wanting to enjoy the Spanish Pie off Kai's feet, but then she was stopped by Kaya, "Don't you think the birthday girl should have the first licks?" Connie thought then took a step back, "Fine."

When she stopped hugging him, she admired his massive feet for a moment, "Wow, I've never seen anyone with such big feet before!" She exclaimed, "W-well..they aren't normally that big, b-but we used some of this t..to make my feet become as big as they are now" admitted Kai as he grabbed the bottle out of the box and showed her. "Hmm, that sounds pretty nice! Could you get me some bottles for when I work at the pie factory? More people might want to get Spanish Pies too hehe" she said with a giggle, "Y-you'll have to talk with Connie about that" Kai replied. Then Jess took the first lick on the ice cream, giving Kai some time before his big soles would get licked at. After 4 minutes of licking and eating all the ice cream, she got the first lick at his sole, causing Kai to make a cute little squeak sound. "Are you okay?" Jess asked, "Y-yep, just sensitive" replied Kai softly, "Come onnnnn, can't we get some licks in too?" Whined Connie, "Oh alright, the Spanish Pie is free for everyone to enjoy!" Announced Jess as everyone went over and started to lick and nibble at Kai's soles to all enjoy the Spanish Pie, causing Kai to laugh like crazy and made it incredibly hard for him to stay still.

After a few minutes of licks and laughter, all the ice cream, blueberries and bits of pie had been eaten off Kai's soles, "Mmm~ that was delicious, I need to get you two to help me with making Spanish Pies hehe" chuckled Jess, "Yea, don't you think so Kai?" Connie said as she looked at Kai, but he couldn't respond, he was more focused on trying to breathe properly after the constant laughter as some tears still were on his face after the crying he was doing while laughing. "Aww, maybe we went a little to much on him" Jess admitted as she wiped the tears from Kai's eyes and gave his cheek a little kiss, "Thank you for doing this kind act, it was nice and made my birthday really special" Jess said softly with a smile, Kai blushed and shyly looked away, "T..tehehe, no worries, I-I'm happy to have done it."

Then the group continued to have fun at Jess' place with games, food, Duncan played a song he made for Jess, they all watched a movie and Connie and Jess used Kai's feet as pillows since there was no more space left on the sofa for the song and movies. But you know how the saying goes, time flies when your having fun and it was sunset. "Huh-would you look at that, sunset already, guess we have to go now Kai" Connie told him, "Aw...really?" Kai asked, not wanting to leave, but it seems like the others bar Jess had the same idea as they all looked outside too and got ready to leave. "It's okay Kai, we all had a fun day and we can do something like this again sometime soon" Jess said as she gave Kai's massive foot a kiss before getting up. Connie got up too and offered Kai a hand, "W-well, thank you all for a fun day a..and accepting us here, a-and happily b-birthday Jess" Kai said shyly but with a smile on his face before everyone went in for a group hug. Kai and Connie were the first to leave and waved at everyone, "Bye bye!" Then Kai and Connie hugged so they could both do a digital transfer from the Sandalwood world back to the District.

After the successful transfer, Kai and Connie were back in Connie's facility, "Well-that was an adventure I didn't expect, but one I surely enjoyed" Kai said with an extra spring in his step, "I know, it was lucky you chose that one or else we wouldn't have been part of a party!" Connie said with joy, "Yea! Although-I do have a question, you know that growtion stuff, when does that wear off?" Kai asked curiously, looking down at his still massive feet, "Ooooo-well, a normal bottle of growtion only lasts for around an hour or so, so I got some special modified bottles made that last for much longer, and I used my first bottle on you" Connie answered. "W-wait, so you used a modified bottle of that stuff on me, a-and the first bottle was used on me?" Kai asked, "Yea, why?" Connie asked back, "H..how long does this stuff last?!" Kai asked, his face turning red, "Hmm...good question, I guess we'll find out when your feet go back to normal" Connie answered, "W-what if my feet don't go back to normal?!" Kai asked, a bit worried, "Well-we'll get the scientists to make a remedy to get your feet back to normal, either that or I'll have two new big toys to play with~" Connie teased as Kai rolled his eyes, "O..oh boy..."

The day is August 12th, the current location is the Digital District and Connie Wright is showing her friend Kai Leone around the district since this is his first time in Connie's world.

"So, what do you think of the place, pretty cool right?" Connie said as she was walking back to her facility with Kai walking beside her

"It most definitely is! Thanks for showing me around again, there are lots of cool people as well, especially that trainer with the really long feet hehe, his name was Wilbur, right? It'll be funto train with him" Kai said with a spring in his step

"Heh, you have a point, most people use his feet as balance boards, but after sharing some experiences with you, that's not the only thing you'll be using his feet for~" Connie playfully teased

Kai blushed from her comments, "W-well..umm...I can't say you're wrong hehe."

"Oh I know, I'm never wrong, why do you think my name is Connie Wright?" Connie looked back and winked at him before reaching and entering her facility. "Most of the others are busy today though, so you're with me again!"

"Yay! I know you best out of everyone here so that's perfectly fine with me!" Kai said with a big smile on his face

Connie chuckled at him and ruffled his hair, "Alright you cute blue goofball, since your gonna be with me for the day, we're going on an adventure through worlds! And since I'm in a good mood, I'll let you choose the location." She pulled him over to the big selection of digital worlds that they could travel to.

"R-really? That's kind of you to do, thanks" Kai smiled softly and had a soft blush glowing on his face from Connie's cute comment.

Kai looked through the large gallery of options as Connie watched him, he wasn't sure which option to take as there were a number of good ones, but there was one that his eyes always looked back at after very few seconds, so he took it and showed it to Connie, "H-how about this one?" His shy little voice sounded out

Connie took the box and looked at it, "Sandalwood world..S.S Soft Serve? Hmm..." she was considering it and they looked down at Kai, "Well, if it's where you want to go, let's do it!" She took the disc out of the box and started to set up the screen for another travel.

"T-thank you very much Connie" Kai said softly as he gave her a little hug from behind, Connie blushed a little herself from the little surprise hug, she smiled as she did the final finishing touches, all she needed to do was hit the transfer button. "Aw come here you!" She got up and gave Kai a big hug before hitting the transfer button. Both Connie's and Kai's bodies started to turn into digital matter and were sucked into the screen to complete the digital transfer from the Digital District to the world of Sandalwood.

It was a very good day in the world of Sandalwood as the sun was shining, the birds were chirping, lots of people were walking and having a good time, but no one would expect for it to start raining humans as the digital matter that was Kai and Connie reformed into their physical forms a few feet into the air, they looked at each other for a moment before looking at the ground and how far away it was before looking at each other again and gulping before starting to descend. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-" was the sounds coming from the duo as they screamed all the way down until they landed in a big bush which thankfully broke their fall a little.

"Owww..." whined Kai a little as he sat up, still in the arms of Connie from the hug as they travelled."#

"W-wow, are you okay Kai?" Connie asked as she inspected him, not wanting her friend to be hurt during his first travel.

"Y-yea, I'm pretty sure the bush and the hug broke the fall, so thank you. And are you okay?" Kai asked with his voice sounding shaky

"Yea, all's good, but I did lose my sandals though" she said as she stretched her legs out to show her now bare feet, her nails still rocking the red polish that also paints her finger nails. "But are you sure you're okay? You sound pretty shaken up. Come on, lets walk it off and explore this place, sound good?" Connie said softly as she got up and offered Kai a hand

Kai took a deep breath and took Connie's hand, getting help up. "Y-yea, thank you" he smiled softly as Connie smiled back and they got out of the bush and started to take a stroll through this new world. Although it was a new world, it was full of things they had already seen such as buildings, people and the sorts, but there were a few cool looking ships flowing on the water, the walk certainly helped Kai calm down as he was feeling better and admiring the scenery, Connie was just happy to see Kai feeling better as she felt the cool pavement on her soles.

"Say, when I was reading what this place contained, it talked about how this place serves really good desserts and the likes, maybe we could find it and see if it's the real deal?" Connie suggested

"Oh-that sounds pretty nice! Hopefully they have outside tables too so we can watch the ships sail by" Kai said happily and started to look around for the place, and lckily enough, there seemed to be an ice cream store nearby with a group of people outside, "Is that it over there?"

"Hmm, only one way to find out I guess, come on, lets go!" Connie picked up the pace and started making her way over to the place along with Kai. As they got closer, the sign saying "S.S Soft Serve" above the building was more visible. "Yep, that's definitely the place, first one there has to pay!" Connie said as she let go of Kai's hand and started running over, Kai was a little surprised but started running too, "Hey-that's not fair!"

The final member of the gang joined the others waiting by the front door of the S.S. Soft Serve, "Alright, is that everyone now?" Keya said, "Okay, now we can start..the..." As she was about to start, she saw Connie and Kai running in the distance and that stopped her "begin?"

The duo reached the store with Connie just winning the race, "I won! That means you pay Kai~" Connie teased as she looked back at Kai triumphantly"

"Aw come on, but you got a head start..can't we split the pay?" Kai replied, trying to make his case.

Everyone from the crew looked at each other in confusion before Jing spoke up, "Umm...can we help you?"

"Oh-yes, we heard this place has some of the best sweet desserts in the city and we'd like to buy some!" Connie replied

"Ooooo-well you are right, but we are closed today" Nella, the 'captain' of the S.S. Soft Serve told them"

"Aww...why?" Kai asked with a hint of sadness in his voice

"Aww, don't be upset little one, it's for a special occasion and it'll be open again tomorrow" Nella said as she gave Kai some head pats, making him smile a little.

"Alright, hopefully this special occasion brings a nice day for you all. Come on Connie, let's keep browsing the land Kai said as he started to walk away from the others, Connie quickly followed him and pulled him to the side of the parlour. "Connie? What are you-"

She put a finger to his lips to shush him, "Quiet now, we said we'd get dessert and we aren't gonna walk away with nothing, special occasion or not" Connie whispered

"B-but they said we can come back tomorrow, right?" Kai whispered back

"We may not come back tomorrow, that's the thing" Connie whispered in response as he took Kai's hand, "Now come on, let's get our desserts."

As Connie started to walk, Kai stopped her, "W-wait, I hear them talking, can't we listen to what they are saying in case this special occasion is the real deal or not?" Kai asked softly

"Alright then, but they better not be lying or anything" Connie replied as she got to the end of the side with Kai to listen to what the gang had to say and peek at them while doing so.

What they saw was Keya, the girl with green hair and sunglasses, acting as the leader by speaking up first "...ready? That's great Hannah! We have our pie cake and-" "I think we missed the start" Kai whispered to Connie, "Quiet" Connie whispered back as she went back to listen in on the discussion. "light the candles Keya" the pumpkin looking person said as a flame appeared from his fingers, "Great to hear Jack! Next up on the agenda is presents, were you able to get all the gifts to her house Rocky?" Keya asked as she turned to the buff looking guy with a plaster on his nose, "Mhm! Everyone’s gift is there" Rocky replied as he gave a thumbs up. "Wonderful! Hopefully none of the gifts were too difficult for you to carry. Next on the agenda is food-Duncan, Fortuna, Nina, did you all take care of the sweet treats?" "Yep, we have a few trays of Duncan's glazes and cookies" Nina said as Duncan and Fortuna smiled, "And did you two get the savoury stuff sorted out? Pepi, Shawn?" "You know it Keya, they're still being made but I told the others to deliver the Pizzas to *Jess' home location and number* so they'll be there" Shawn said. "Brilliant! We're gonna make sure Jess has the best birthday ever!" Jess said with happiness in her voice. "It does all sound pretty good, but it feels like something is missing" Chip said as he did a little thinking face, "Hm, what would that be?" Keya questioned, "A Spanish Pie, Jess was the creator of that and I'm sure she'd love that" Chip replied. "I volunteer to get the Spanish Pie for her!" Gary quickly said, "Sorry to burst your bubble Gary, but by the time we all get the finishing details sorted and when Jess leaves the pie factory, there won't be enough time for us to get a box to hide you in, whipped cream and be all back at the house when Keya walks home with Jess" Barry said, seemingly having calculated all the times in his head, "Yea, sorry Gary, but I'd rather have everyone wish Jess a happy birthday at the same time so we should stick to the plan" Kaya told him. "Aw...alright" Gary said in a dejected tone.

"A birthday huh? Looks like this adventure has reached the fun stage~" Connie said with a mischievous look on her face, "W-well, don't you think we should leave it? I..I mean, we aren't her friend, we just heard about it now and we probably wouldn't be welcome" Kai replied nervously. "Aw come on Kai, look at the bright side of things: we can be the 'surprise guests', I can return to the Digital District and get some gifts and stuff and you can do this Spanish Pie thing and make this Jess person happy, sound good?" Connie said, trying to put a positive spin on things, "Well..I guess you're right, but how do we know what a Spanish Pie is and stuff?"

"Oh, and did you lock up the place, Gary?" Asked Keya, "Yea yea.." Gary replied, still sounding dejected, "Are you sure Gary? Because we all know how forgetful you can be'' Nella said, knowing what sort of antics he gets up to, "I promise I did!" Gary said, knowing in his head that he locked the place. "Okay, we have a few hours to complete the plan, let’s do this everyone!"

They all cheered and started walking to the side Kai and Connie were hiding, "Crap-they're coming, what do we do?" Kai asked worriedly, "Emmm...over there!" Connie quickly took Kai's hand and rushed over to hide behind a dumpster, and thankfully for them they weren't spotted, but maybe they could've chosen a better place to hide...

"Oh, just wondering Coco but what did you do with the bad batch of marshmallows?" Keya asked as she was messaged about some marshmallows being messed up, "The marshmallows? I was throwink them in the dumpster when I came here" Coco replied, "Which dumpster?" Keya asked curiously, "Ze S.S. Soft Serve one" Coco replied again, "But our dumpster is a little bust and the mallows could leak" Nella told her, "ekh, eto teper' ne nasha problema".

The Russian was the last thing Kai and Connie heard before the group were out of hearing range. "Umm..what did they say about bad marshmallows and a bust dumpster?" Kai questioned, and Connie had am question of her own, "Umm...Kai, is it just me or does the ground feel a little weird?" Connie pushed the dumpster away and the white, marshmallowy ground behind/under the dumpster was now revealed to the duo, and they were both stuck! "W-what the heck?!" Conne was caught a little off guard and tried to lift her right foot, only to see thick strands of gooey marshmallow cling to her sole and pull her foot back down into the sticky trap. "Umm...well that's put a problem into our plan, a sticky one nonetheless" Kai commented as he saw the thick white mallow cling to the bottoms of his football boots.

"Aw come on, we can't be stuck here, we need to prepare for a party!" Connie said, a bit frustrated as she continued to try and free herself, her left foot going up, the mallow stuck to the sole before pulling it back down, then her right foot went up and gave a similar result to her left foot. Kai does the same and gets similar results, but he could lift his feet higher than Connie could. "Jeez..if you have a bust dumpster, why don't you replace it?" Kai questioned, "Forget that how can someone make marshmallows this sticky?!" Connie questioned herself as she saw and felt the marshmallow stuff squish between her toes, making her get more stuck and barely able to pull her feet up anymore. "Darn...what can we do here?" Kai asked as he continued to try and free himself with stretching noises being heard with each attempt. "Wait-Kai, you have shoes on, just take them off and jump to safety!" Connie said, a bit confused as to why Kai didn't do that a few minutes ago, "O-oh, good idea Connie" Kai said softly as he untied his laces, stepped out of his shoes and jumped to the safe pavement.

"Alright, now it's time to get you out" Kai said as he walked over to Connie's side, "Now-give me your hands so I can pull you out" Connie looked at him and smiled, taking his hands and holding on tight. "Ready!" "Okay-one..two...three!" Kai started to pull and take steps back, hoping the mallow would break free from Connie's soles, but, surprisingly-it didn't, it continued to cling to her soles, stretched however far Connie was pulled and eventually won the battle, pulling Connie back in. "Wow...that's some seriously strong stuff, it's almost like glue" Kai said, wondering how the marshmallows could be that sticky. "I know..it's way stickier than the stuff we use...wait-remember what we used to free ourselves sometimes when we get stuck in marshmallow?" Connie told him, "Hmm...water?" Kai answered, unsure as they use different methods to get unstuck, "Yes! Water, all we need is water" Connie said, being sure it would work. "Hopefully, but-where would we get water?" Kai questioned. "Connie thought for a moment and then remembered something from the conversation as the group left, "Wait-Kai, I know it's a shot in the dark, but what if that Gary person didn't lock the parlour? You heard how he can be forgetful" Kai looked at her like she was a genius, "Great idea! Now all we need is hope and for no one to see me" Kai said as he walked around to the front of the parlour and to the front door, he took a deep breath and put his hand on the door and gently pushed it...and the door slowly opened. "Yes! Thank you Gary for being forgetful" Kai said to himself as he opened the door and went inside. The inside of the parlour looked quite nice as it had some nice pirate themed designs inside, but Kai wasn't here to admire the scenery, he was here to get water to free his friend. "If I was to get water, where would I look?" He looked around and saw a sign that said 'Employee's only' and got a notion, "Welp-looks like I'm an employee for a few minutes" Kai said as he walked through the door and saw a kitchen of sorts with lots of freezers, ice cream related treats, and, most importantly-a sink!

"Yes! This is perfect" Kai said as he got a cleaning basin that was next to the sink and filled it up with a mix of warm and cold water and filled it 3/4 full so he could still carry it without risk of spilling any and getting his socks wet. He got back outside and walked around the side and saw the stuck Connie, still struggling to free her feet, until she saw Kai. "Kai! Was it open? Did you get the water?" Connie questioned, "I mean-what do you think this is?" Kai replied in a joking tone as he walked over to her, "Now-this may get wet" Kai said as he started to pour the water from the basin onto the marshmallow and Connie's feet, Connie winced a little from the initial feeling of the water hitting her feet and started to feel the grip of the mallow weaken around her soles and she was able to lift her feet up higher than before until the strands were able to snap and her feet were free. "Hehe, thank you so much my hero~" Connie teased as she hugged Kai, Kai blushed and hugged back, "A-any time, b..but we don't really have any time to waste with the party stuff" Kai said. "Oh-yea, let’s get to work!" Connie said as she took Kai's hand and took them both back into the parlour and Kai showed her where the kitchen was so they could make some Spanish Pies.

"Alright, Spanish Pie...how do we make it?" Connie questioned, "I have absolutely no clue-" Kai admitted before he took out his phone and looked up what a Spanish Pie was, Connie watched him while he did so and was confused as to why he started to blush, "Umm, you okay there?" Connie asked, "Y-yep" Kai quickly said in his shy little voice, "Can I see the Spanish Pie stuff?" Connie questioned, but Kai shook his head no, not wanting to show her whats on the phone, "Aw come on, what's so bad about it~?" Connie asked as she tried to take the phone, "N-no Connie" "Seriously Kai, come on~" the two had a little playful scuffle before Connie eventually got the phone and saw what a Spanish Pie was. "Ooooo-so it isn't actually a pie?" Connie said confusingly, "N-nope" replied Kai in an embarassed tone, "Eh, we can still make it happen, and I know just the guy to make it work~" Connie said as she looked down at Kai, causing him to blush. "Y-you want me to do it?! C-can't you? Y..your more comfortable with doing stuff like this" Kai quickly said as he tried to make his case, "I would be, but my feet are still a little dirty and sticky and yours are clean, safe and sound~ and I'm sure this Jess person will love a Spanish Pie on your feet~ speaking of which, let's reveal them~" Connie teased again. Kai was a little hesitant at first, but then took off his long football socks to reveal his soft and cute looking feet, the nails still painted black and blue. "S-so, what now?" Kai shyly questioned, "We decorate your feet with Spanish Pie of course!" Connie said happily as she looked around for the ingredients, but was a little disappointed after searching as she found nothing. "Okayyy-so we may not have what we need, I'm gonna go back to the District and get what we need and a few other things, I won't be too long Kai, promise" She winked at the boy before transfering herself back as Kai sat alone in the kitchen. While he waited for Connie to return, he got a tub of vanilla ice cream from the freezer and started to eat it. "..mmm~ this ice cream is really tasty."

After about 20 minutes of waiting, Kai heard the front door open and he went to inspect, and he was glad to see Connie back, and she had a pretty big looking box in her hands that was a purple-blue in colour and had lavender polka-dots all around it, "Hey! Great to see you back, did you get everything you needed?" Connie smiled and nodded her head, "Mhm! I got blueberry stuff, some shoes, cutlery, a chef hat, apron, a pie and a bottle of growtion." "Great! But-what is the bottle of growtion for? What even is growtion?" Kai questioned, "Oh y'know, it contains a liquid that makes whatever it's rubbed into grow in size, and if we want to give the birthday girl a big surprise, we're gonna need a big pair of feet~" Connie's words caused Kai to blush as red as a tomato, "A-are you serious? ...fine, w-we'll do it, b-but is it reversible?" Kai asked, "Of course it is, you have nothing to worry about!" Connie reassured him. "A-alright, let's do it” Kai said as he put his feet up in front of Connie, she admired his soles for a moment before pouring 3/4 of the bottle over his feet and started to massage them to rub it in. "Y'know, t-this feels kinda nice" Kai softly admitted as he relaxed, Connie smiling while looking at him, "There we go, all is calm and good~ you need to learn how to take a chill pill sometimes Kai" Connie said before giggling, "Heh, I guess your rigeeee-" as he was talking, Kai was cut off by a weird feeling in his feet and soon enough, they started to grow in size! "Seems like the growtion is working" Connie said, having felt the effects of growtion before. In a matter of seconds, Kai's feet had grown much bigger than their original size.

"W-wow, they are pretty big" Kai admitted, looking at his new sized stompers with a soft blush on his face, "Mhm, but they're still as adorable as ever~" Connie said teasingly as she gave his right foot a little tickle, "Hehehehey!" Kai burst into a little fit of giggles, it seems like the bigger they were, the more sensitive they are. "Heh, I gotta use this stuff more often~ but now we have our size sorted, let's make ourselves some Spanish Pie! Oh-I nearly forgot, before we do-" she took out the apron and chef hat from the box "I'm gonna need you to put these on and be a wonderful model for Jess' new kitchen gear~" Kai took them and obliged, putting the apron on first and then the chef hat. "Y'know, you'd make a pretty good worker here Kai hehe, and now you should probably get in the box before I make the pie so it isn't harder to get in when your feet get all pied up." Kai understood where she was coming from so he got into the box and laid on his belly, bending his knees so his large feet could be decorated, "A-alright, let's get down to business."

Connie first got some blueberry stuff and covered Kai's soles until no skin could be seen, then she got some bit of pie and crumbled it up to place the bits on Kai's feet. "Ah-I forgot the whipped cream, but how will we get a-" then she saw the ice cream "...replacement?" As she walked over to got it, Kai tried to reassure her, I-It'll be fine Connie, f-forgetting one part won't beEEEEEEEE-" he was cut off and got a shiver down his spine as he felt a cold circle was felt on the centre of his soles, "W-what is that?!" He yelped, "Well, jus some ice cream, thanks for the idea if you left it out~" Connie smiled as Kai's teeth chittered a little, "And we can't forget the cherries on top~" she said as she placed 2 cherries on Kai's toes. "And now you have yourself some delicious Spanish Pie~" Connie said proudly, "Y..y..yea, b-but let's get to J-J-Jess' place, we don't h-h-have much time to waste" Kai eventually got out and without a moment's notice, Connie started to push along the box since she couldn't carry it due to the weight of Kai.

After getting the location on Google Maps and taking the journey to Jess' home, they both arrived at the location. "And here we are!" Connie said, "H-hopefully we are as I wouldn't know from views hehe" Kai joked, seemingly haven gotten used to the cold ice cream on his feet. "Wait here a moment, I'm going to check" said Connie as she went to the door and tried to open it, but it was locked, "Darn!v Guess we'll have to wait Kai, door is locked" she said as she walked back to the box, "O-okay, will we hide until someone opens the door?" Kai asked, "Yep, there's another bush over here so we'll hide until Jess gets back." Connie once again pushed the box with Kai inside over to the bush to hide. After waiting for 5 minutes, Connie looked at Kai's Spanish Pie covered feet, she couldn't resist and gave his heel a lick, "EEP-d..did you just take a lick?" Kai asked shyly, "Sorry, couldn't resist~."

After another 10 minutes of waiting, Connie eventually saw 2 people walking towards the house and gave Kai's box a little shake, "This might be it, keep quiet-" Connie whispered as she peeked through the bush to listen in on the conversation. "I'm glad you could join me on my birthday," said Jess happily. "Sure thing," replied Keya. "What are best friends for?" "This'll be fun! What should we do?" "Oh, you'll see..." Keya was as cool and confident sounding as ever. Little did Jess know the kind of evening they would have in store. Jess arrived at her house with Keya by her side. With a large smile on her face, Jess grabbed her key and unlocked her door. When she opened her door, the dark room instantly lit up. "SURPRISE!!!" All of Jess and Keya's Sandalwood friends jumped out from behind the furniture, tossing balloons and confetti into the air. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JESS!" Jess's smile became one of shock for a moment before growing into an even bigger grin. Keya had planned her a big birthday party all along, and she couldn't have been happier! "Aw, Keya, thank you," said the overjoyed baker. "This is perfect, all of our friends, a beautiful birthday pie, and so many gifts!" Connie watched it all unfold and heard a good bit of confirmation, "Come on, let's see you cut the birthday pie in the Kitchen!" As she heard those words, she pushed the box towards the house and took a peek through the door to see no one in the living room. "Great, they must all be in the kitchen. Okay Kai, this is it, I'll place you with the rest of the gifts and hide, then when Jess opens the gift and sees you, I'll jump out and go 'surprise' and stuff, then we'll be the surprise guests~ got it?" Connie said seeing Kai give a thumbs up allowed her to push the gift box over to the others and closed it so Kai wouldn't be spotted before she hid behind the sofa. In the box, Kai was a little nervous for how things would unfold.

As they all returned from the kitchen, Jess looked at all of the gifts. Each one was wrapped in colourful paper, corresponding to one of Jess's equally colorful friends. Hannah Peele's was tall, yellow, and decorated with bananas. Cookie Crumbel's looked like a giant chocolate chip cookie with a bow around it. Jack O' Carver's had Halloween wrapping paper, orange in colour and decorated with spiders. Nella Khone's was as blue as the sea and covered in little anchors. And the heart-shaped box with the strawberries just had to be from that little flirt, Gary Straw. Jess had fun seeing whose gift was whose based on the boxes alone. All of a sudden, she spotted a mysterious gift box. It was a purple-blue colour, like her hair, with lavender polka-dots all around it. Looks like something Jess herself would wrap, but it was a gift for her! The more interesting part was that this box was much larger than the rest, about as tall as Keya! "Wow, this one is huge," exclaimed Jess. "I wonder what it could be..." "Hm," Keya thought to herself. "I don't remember that one." Everyone at the party seemed stumped, or at least acted stumped. Nobody knew for sure who brought this large mystery gift. Nonetheless, Jess was dying of curiosity. She stepped towards the box, slowly unwrapping it...

"What the-" Jess was very surprised as she opened the gift as she first saw the boy with the big feet and that caused the others to worry a little, "What's in it Jess?!" The group asked, before they were met with their own surprise of Connie jumping from behind the sofa and shouting "SURPRISEEE!!!" "W-What is going on?" Jess asked in a confused tone, "Wait..aren’t you the girl at the S.S. Soft Serve, what are you doing here?!" Keya asked, not wanting Jess' birthday to get ruined by two strangers.

"You see, whenever we were leaving, I pulled Kai to the side of the parlour as I didn't want to leave without some ice cream, but Kai convinced me to listen instead of act, then we overheard all the birthday plans and we decided to do up the Spanish Pie because none of you could, we also got some additional gifts as you can see" Connie explained, "Okay, but why did you want to want to do something for people you've never met and how come we didn't see you when we walked past?" Barry asked, a little confused like all the others, "Well-it wasn't really me that wanted to do this, I was more so thinking of him as he always wants to help people, no matter if they are strangers or people he knows, and we hid behind the dumpster, but then got stuck in some bad marshmallow" Connie said as she glanced over at Coco, "Apologies, but I didn't know you would have hidden there, but how did chu escape?" Coco asked, "And you wanted to do all this for me?" Jess asked Kai, "Y-yes, b..but it was Connie's idea to b-become "special guests" here a-and I had shoes on s..so I was able to get out of them to get water from the sink in your kitchen, a..and thanks for not locking the door G-Gary" Kai said shyly as everyone from the crew looked at Gary. "What? I wasn't in the right mood to lock a door" Gary pouted, "S-so I'll understand if you d..don't want us here" Kai said softly.

"Not want you here? Don't be so silly sweetie, this was quite a kind gesture from you and your friend, and you can stay and enjoy the party" Jess said with a smile as she asked Rocky to lift him out from the box and sat him on the ground before giving him a hug, to which Kai smiled softly and hugged her back. "Aww, that's cute!" Said Nella, "Looks like Jess has made a new friend" joked Jack, "...why couldn't that be me?" Whispered Gary under his breath. "What are we waiting for then? Lets enjoy!" Connie said, wanting to enjoy the Spanish Pie off Kai's feet, but then she was stopped by Kaya, "Don't you think the birthday girl should have the first licks?" Connie thought then took a step back, "Fine."

When she stopped hugging him, she admired his massive feet for a moment, "Wow, I've never seen anyone with such big feet before!" She exclaimed, "W-well..they aren't normally that big, b-but we used some of this t..to make my feet become as big as they are now" admitted Kai as he grabbed the bottle out of the box and showed her. "Hmm, that sounds pretty nice! Could you get me some bottles for when I work at the pie factory? More people might want to get Spanish Pies too hehe" she said with a giggle, "Y-you'll have to talk with Connie about that" Kai replied. Then Jess took the first lick on the ice cream, giving Kai some time before his big soles would get licked at. After 4 minutes of licking and eating all the ice cream, she got the first lick at his sole, causing Kai to make a cute little squeak sound. "Are you okay?" Jess asked, "Y-yep, just sensitive" replied Kai softly, "Come onnnnn, can't we get some licks in too?" Whined Connie, "Oh alright, the Spanish Pie is free for everyone to enjoy!" Announced Jess as everyone went over and started to lick and nibble at Kai's soles to all enjoy the Spanish Pie, causing Kai to laugh like crazy and made it incredibly hard for him to stay still.

After a few minutes of licks and laughter, all the ice cream, blueberries and bits of pie had been eaten off Kai's soles, "Mmm~ that was delicious, I need to get you two to help me with making Spanish Pies hehe" chuckled Jess, "Yea, don't you think so Kai?" Connie said as she looked at Kai, but he couldn't respond, he was more focused on trying to breathe properly after the constant laughter as some tears still were on his face after the crying he was doing while laughing. "Aww, maybe we went a little to much on him" Jess admitted as she wiped the tears from Kai's eyes and gave his cheek a little kiss, "Thank you for doing this kind act, it was nice and made my birthday really special" Jess said softly with a smile, Kai blushed and shyly looked away, "T..tehehe, no worries, I-I'm happy to have done it."

Then the group continued to have fun at Jess' place with games, food, Duncan played a song he made for Jess, they all watched a movie and Connie and Jess used Kai's feet as pillows since there was no more space left on the sofa for the song and movies. But you know how the saying goes, time flies when your having fun and it was sunset. "Huh-would you look at that, sunset already, guess we have to go now Kai" Connie told him, "Aw...really?" Kai asked, not wanting to leave, but it seems like the others bar Jess had the same idea as they all looked outside too and got ready to leave. "It's okay Kai, we all had a fun day and we can do something like this again sometime soon" Jess said as she gave Kai's massive foot a kiss before getting up. Connie got up too and offered Kai a hand, "W-well, thank you all for a fun day a..and accepting us here, a-and happily b-birthday Jess" Kai said shyly but with a smile on his face before everyone went in for a group hug. Kai and Connie were the first to leave and waved at everyone, "Bye bye!" Then Kai and Connie hugged so they could both do a digital transfer from the Sandalwood world back to the District.

After the successful transfer, Kai and Connie were back in Connie's facility, "Well-that was an adventure I didn't expect, but one I surely enjoyed" Kai said with an extra spring in his step, "I know, it was lucky you chose that one or else we wouldn't have been part of a party!" Connie said with joy, "Yea! Although-I do have a question, you know that growtion stuff, when does that wear off?" Kai asked curiously, looking down at his still massive feet, "Ooooo-well, a normal bottle of growtion only lasts for around an hour or so, so I got some special modified bottles made that last for much longer, and I used my first bottle on you" Connie answered. "W-wait, so you used a modified bottle of that stuff on me, a-and the first bottle was used on me?" Kai asked, "Yea, why?" Connie asked back, "H..how long does this stuff last?!" Kai asked, his face turning red, "Hmm...good question, I guess we'll find out when your feet go back to normal" Connie answered, "W-what if my feet don't go back to normal?!" Kai asked, a bit worried, "Well-we'll get the scientists to make a remedy to get your feet back to normal, either that or I'll have two new big toys to play with~" Connie teased as Kai rolled his eyes, "O..oh boy..."
