There's this melody that has been echoing in my mind for some time now, and it fit perfectly in the movie...
...I composed the melody for the guitar originally, but since I don't own a guitar, I decided that piano sounds good too, since it can be easily emulated by the computer
There are some minor changes, to meet the new rhythm dictated by the melody, and the melody is actually a set of several separate patterns that I used to reduce the file size of the movie, and I had a real heck of a time to harmonize the animation, the music patterns and the rhythm
.So I apologize in advance, if you find it lame, but hey, I'm no musician
The initial inspiration spark was triggered by one of the Tool songs, believe it or not.
The song is Jimmy, and the line that started it all is: "Until one and one are one, eleven..."

A wonderful and stirring animation, to be sure. The black and white with splashes of color add to the overall impact of the piece. The music (while slightly tinny) both simple and effective.
The conclusion was both somewhat saddening as he did not seem to find his 'other half' in the end, but beautiful nonetheless.
On the other hand, I noticed the use of symbols (for example, the car in cares) was more evident towards the end of the animation. While this is not necessarily a con, it made me wonder if the artist decided to add these halfway through the making of.
All in all, a powerful work that certainly deserves its title as a Daily Deviation.
