I was immediately drawn to this photo. The contrast of the curves and straight lines is very appealing to my eye. The D O F is ok, and the slight vignette is also nice. I also like the contrast between the hard lines and the delicate.
I do wish, however that the flag (I think it's a flag) at the top wasn't cut off, for me also a bit distracting. Since it was a still object, I would perhaps lower the iso and raise the f/ as high as possible to improve the D O F overall. I think that would encourage the eye to be drawn over the entire image, allowing it to be fully appreciated.

Its actually a roof of the Olympia Stadium in Munich. No flag there. You may google it

At first I think it's a nice shot because:
- The black and white effect is a good choice with sky without cloud.
- The picture is simple and efficient.
- The contrast is ok.
- I think it's a kind of modern tower of Babel, like a human-made thing for climb up to the sky.
But:
- A little problem with the right side you cut the object just a few pixels too late, but it's not really important.
-about the top of the background, why some dark corner ? With the idea of "mounted" some dark corner have to be at the bottom but also it's not really important and it's just a parasite effect.
Finally it's really a great job, Congratulations.
This kind of picture is exactly what I like to watch.
