I'd say this is probably the most demanding painting I've ever done. Between researching vehicles and military hardwear from the period, making maquettes to help me get the monsters looking just how I wanted, colour tests and much more the whole thing's taken a ridiculous amount of time - probably 120+ hours. It's not a commercially viable way of working, but I think that sometimes it's just good to pull out all the stops and see what you can do with no time constraints.
