The eyebrows and mustache gave it away. That and I can't help but imagine King Triton from Disney's The Little Mermaid doing the same thing as Wahida's dad.

Honestly I think if Nikolai took Wahida away from that household I'm sure they'd find some middle ground eventually because they are BOTH good kids with good intentions but I won't be surprised if Wahida flees right now. Nobody likes having no choice.

Yes, if Hadima had a son, he would be named Zahi VIII. Wahida on the other hand, can't, as she would've ruled with Nicolai in Limae.

I feel sorry for both Wahida and Nicolai on this page. It seems like Wahida will never be accepted for who she truly is, and Nicolai is being persuaded to marry her anyway although he's shared his concerns with the king.

And that's a good question! Nicolai was definitely on the suitor list and was subtly mentioned back in page 15 of chapter 1 . But I'm sure that the King and Nicolai have had this conversation a few times.
