This is a seriously BIG house - in a good location and only 3 minutes walk to the beach.... It displays fabulous architecture and looks to be maintained in good order... I suspect it was built (probably near on 100 years ago) for a large and wealthy family - maybe they still live there, or maybe (like many large houses in the surrounding areas) it has been converted into apartments.... The surrounding wall makes it impossible to judge - and I could not see any mailboxes etc... So, was this beautiful six-sided tower built as a folly or a "fortress"? And does it really matter anyway? - I think it looks great!!
