Description I started this artwork when the FIFA World Cup 2014 was underway. I have been watching his games since his youth world cup tournament. I finished this piece when he broke the La Liga BBVA all time goal scoring record and the UEFA Champions League all time goal scoring record in one week. Messi is a football genius and I wanted to capture the fear he puts onto his defenders. So I used Capcom's Street Fighter Ryu as an influence. Hope all fans will enjoy this.
