Yes, I know the Demoman is Scottish and your mind probably just jumped to the Fourth of July, but I just have it in my head that Mr. Degroot here celebrates any holiday involving blowing things up.This one goes out to my buddy who just had his birthday Thursday! Huzzah! *confetti and sprinkles* If you're thinking to yourself, "Huh, this doesn't look blue, I thought liked Blue team," then you'd be right! Red is 's favorite, so Demoman is now red.
Anyway, now that I've stayed up all night again playing TF2 (on a server with bots, which I didn't realize until my stats were all fucked up, but oh well, it's fun unlocking achievements) I should go to bed. OMG, apparently I unlocked a Ghastly Ghibus though! Woo, good times.
Drawn with pencil in my sketchbook, then painted with liquitex acrylic ink and Dr. Phil Marten's india ink.

Haha, it wasn't really about any particular holiday, I was really just trying to think of what the Demoman would do for fun. I was considering calling it childhood memories or something since I imagine he started off playing with these as a kid. I'm thinking he just uses any occasion to make go boom though.
