When The Doctor first met her, he thinks this will be another "stupid ape". But as they got out of the building, he looked into her-no, Rose's eyes (such a beautiful name for a beautiful woman), and The Doctor saw something wondrous in them. He wants to know Rose better, but the ever presence of the detonator/bomb denies him of that luxury. Oh well, he thought as he went inside the Tardis, there is plenty of more apes in the jungle, but I like her.

"The air changes as you look across, at me in that wondering way"

Whenever they go on adventures, The Doctor always catches Rose looking at him. Sometimes she does it discreetly; other times she does it where he can see it. He wants to impress Rose, just take her to far-fetched places even humans hadn't dreamed of yet, just to see the wonder in her eyes and the smile on her lips. And she looks at him, like he is the most important man in her life. I've never been looked at like that before, with such curiosity behind it, The Doctor thought each time he sees that look on Rose's face.

"Do our hearts know something we don't? Conspiring, converging without giving us any say"

We spend a lot of time together. When we are on other planets, the end of the world, the 15th century or just chillin' out in the Tardis, getting to know one another. He didn't expect that Rose loves books, and when he showed her one of the rooms on the Tardis, the library, Rose was speechless as she gazed at all the books lining the tall shelves; then she hugged and kissed me, then went off to explore. I stand there, dumbstruck, at the kiss i've received. Then I sat down on one of the couches and wait for her to return. Rose came back with a jewel encrusted book, and she wants me to read it. I take it from her as she sat down and snuggled against me, adding her warmness to mine, and then I started to read. Then a feeling started to unfurl in my chest, something I thought lost. Do I like Rose more than just...friends? The Doctor thought. After all, we do like the same things and being in each other's company, and I want her to be happy.

"You could be the thief, I give the key to"

As time goes on, I started to find myself liking the idea of Rose and me being more than just good friends. I started giving her little presents; a chocolate here, a book there. I also started feeling protective over her, always letting men know that she is MINE subconsciously. Rose is wondering what got into me lately with all the special gifts. I say it's just for nothing but in my mind I thought, you're special to me. Then one day when I was fixing the console and Rose was keeping me company (by reading a book and sitting on the jump seat), I realized that I may actually love her and share my deep secrets with; give her the key to open my hearts with, bare all my secrets to that wonderful woman.

"Playing the chords in me, nobody knew how to play"

I love her. That much I know. She came into my life and made me a better man than I was before. But how to go about it and tell her how I feel. There was many times, so many times, that could tell her but words failed me. One morning I made Rose breakfast in bed, bacon and scrambled eggs with orange juice and a side of a single rose in a small vase. When I was done, I took it to her bedroom, knocked, and then opened the door. Rose was still asleep, all curled up in her pink duvet, she looks cute when she is sleeping. I close the door quietly and went next to her side, keeping my eyes in her face. She must of herd me come in, because she opened those fantastic eyes and smiled at me while sitting up. My hearts gave a flutter as I delivered her breakfast; I think it's time now to tell her how I feel. As she finished her breakfast, I told her about my feelings and how it all started, and I looked deep into her eyes, hold her hands and told her I love you. The surprising part is that she already knows, for quite some time. "I love you Doctor. The first moment we met". At this, The Doctor smiled at Rose and closed the gap between them, feeling his lips against her full ones, then kisses her sweetly. Rose kisses back just as sweetly. After a few minutes of kissing, they pulled apart then looked at each other, and smiled. This will be a start of a beautiful romance, they each thought.
