it’s hard to draw when all you can think of is “these drawings are not quality enough to get me into art university.” especially because I genuinely tried this time, I was passionate and I was told I’m doing good, I studied and I still failed.
this is just an example of NEVER take anything for granted. I was told every step of the way that I have talent for animation, I was told I’m doing good, I was told that I’ll almost certainly pass the exams. and I didn’t. I failed with the first challenge. 45 people tried, and I was one of the 29 that failed to even get to the storyboarding exam part.
it really fucking hurts, man. :"D

you have a really amazing art style. it kind of reminds me of Tim Burton, it gives off that vibe. if you aren't satisfied with your art, i suggest maybe studying and practising. like doing one drawing from every angle, maybe studying real life stuff. although you have a cartoon style, its important to know the rules to break them. Dont give up on your art, because i think you can really get somewhere. <3

hm, I know, I've gone and done some quick croquis work with drawing posing models, although it's been a while so I should get to those events again, yah. thank you for having faith in me. :"D
