I agree with the first critiquer that the bokeh texture detracts from the photo. The well done focus on the leaves and their color is overshadowed by the distracting bubbles.
I like what you were trying to do with the green, but it also is a distraction, especially the right one. There is some useless, empty space on the right side of the right green thing that only exacerbates the problem.
Try removing the right green object, and either toning down the bokeh texture by a lot or removing it completely and you will greatly improve this photo.

I really like the colors.

For me, the bokeh texture doesn't add anything to the photo. Rather, the bokeh bubbles are distracting and take away from the clarity and details of the leaves. On the thumb view, they really just look like dust spots. Sometimes it's better not to mess with simplicity e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/>

I think this shot would've looked great with a diagonal composition since it has so many strong lines. To achieve a diagonal composition, just rotate the photo about 45 degree counter clockwise. Right now with the grass clades so straight, they kind of act like a divider, making the photo feel more like a diptych, which may not b the most desirable for this photo.

I don't know what composition you were going for, but it may be worthwhile to look into some composition rules. With the current composition I would've prefered a bit more negative space to the right, compositing the leaves in a sort of rule of thirds composition.

Hope this helps e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/>

I like this piece. I would like to agree with the critiques given, that the light specs are a bit distracting on the leaves but
I would like to disagree with the critics on the matter of composition. I like the general feel of the piece and I enjoy how everything is placed, I only believe there should have been more emphasis on the leaves, particularly if the bubbles weren't so prominent.
I believe this photo has enough depth to hold this type of arrangement of elements, otherwise. Great job!
