At some point during my young days I was very into drawing sword and sorcery pictures. Of course we all know I like to draw semi-clad barbarian women, but I wanted to try one riding an animal, just not a normal Earth animal. This started out to be a giant house-cat, but then it got weird and I added a mane and horns, and colors not usually found on mammals. The background is a photo I took of a forest preserve near my house that I applied a filter to. I love the way her face came out serene and placid, but she's riding this ferocious-looking monster she has somehow saddled and bridled. Makes you wonder how tough she really is despite her winsome beauty.
