Since this was the fourth Phoenix piece I'd done for this commissioner, I was looking to do something different, so I tried an action scene.
I was very happy with the way it came out.

Thanks! Normally, my PSCs are basically character studies, because I like giving all the attention to them, so I usually steer clear of backgrounds. But since I'd already done three Phoenixes (?) for Billy, I wanted to try something different, and the image just kind of popped into my head.

Thanks! Phoenix is going to get some more love from me, too, as I've just been commissioned to do a few more- and not by Billy! I didn't realize he allowed other collectors to commission that character!

LOL! It must be Catalyst then on Scoundrel. Sometimes it's hard for anyone else to get any Phoenix cards because Bill is so greedy. LOL. Just kidding. Hey, it's hard for anyone to get any Rogue cards with me around too. Mwahahahahahaha.

Actually, it's not Catalyst (I don't believe I've met him/her on Scoundrel yet). It's two separate collectors from Scoundrel who've bought my X-men APs.
That's okay- I think it's cool that some collectors become known for their affection to their favorite characters (you- Rogue, Billy- Phoenix, Melissa- Ms. Marvel)!
