Joan's Oasis concept 1 of 3: Deep within the Forbidden Planet lies 'Joan's Oasis', a sacred place of forgiveness and healing. Inspired by the memory of my late Nan, this serene location represents my journey of forgiveness and reconciliation. My relationship with my nan was complicated, and was never fully resolved due to stubbornness and misunderstandings. Through these 3 artworks, I seek to express my personal journey of forgiveness, healing and the ultimate desire to make peace. May all who visit find peace and solace in it's natural beauty.
