A Unknown descendor..of a great man, the chief mechanical engineer of the LNER to be precise, David Gresley has always been one who played safe albeit he has always been curious, a..tinkerer.

Born in the small city of Trolberg, also in the Eastern region..he would eventually climb up to Sodor along with his family, David went through school mostly undesturbed but curious to the world around him, taking necessary causions of course, and would even take a course in engineering to work at Crovan's gate works however..halfway through he decided to not work at Crovan's gate works and yet work at another place that had recently opened: The Arlesdale Railway

David would work there soon as a Guard for the trains, being witness to several incidents, mostly notably; Mike's whistle.

You can still find him there to this day, probably writing some drawings..and talking with his friends :3
