I use Vue for all rendering. There's no collage of backgrounds here, each image is done in one single render, one single pass, typically without post-work (or just some basic stuff, like some glows or de-saturation).

Really interesting 3D piece. I like how you chose to kind of lead the viewer's eye into the composition with the shape towards the foreground. What's intriguing about it though is the lotus flower in the background almost has a sort of really ethereal painted effect, which is a great contrast to that sharp 3D shape. Nice work!
