I'm guessing your fav is either Galaxy, 64, or a spinoff game.

My reaction to the SMO ending:
What? That's how it ends?

I felt like including him.
If I made my ending to Odyssey:
Bowser jumps in after them and engages them in battle but is defeated. Mario, Cappy, Peach, and Tiara are reunited but soon discover that the area they are in is collapsing. Mario uses Cappy to capture Bowser and escape, with all of them eventually returning to the moon. Mario attempts to gift Peach a wedding ring, thus it makes Peach happy. Bowser is however to weak to see this as he has met his defeat. Mario makes his official proposal to Peach and she accepts it. Cappy and Tiara cheer happily. The game would end with the game's characters (except for the defeat Bowser) watching Mario and Peach's wedding vows. Mario and Peach would officially share their first kiss and Mario would jump saying "Yah-Hoo!" and gives Peach a hug. Then Mario and Peach would leave the wedding happily as they board the Odyssey along with Cappy and Tiara. All of the characters would wave goodbye to them as the Odyssey ship takes off. A beautiful choir music is heard as Mario and Peach stare into each other's eyes, slowly lean in for one more kiss. Outside the Odyssey would read THE END in cursive, then the credits start rolling.
That's how my ending would go.

I wouldn't go as far as to say horrible. It was just mediocre at best, and poor at worst.

Well I found the part where Mario becomes a T-Rex was pretty awesome!

In Peach’s defence, regarding the ending, they were stuffing flowers in her face. She had to make a stand somehow. The question is, will she ever forgive Mario for his actions on that.
The fact that Junior wasn’t at the wedding was totally off! How could Bowser not let his own son come to his wedding?!

Oh yes. I remember now.
Very good point! Why wasn't Bowser Junior at his daddy's wedding?

So, in a way, we should be ashamed of Mario.
The excuse of 'he's too young' better not be the case.

Oh. I guess you are right.
Besides, I've seen kids younger than that attend weddings.

Exactly! And I myself attended to one when I was 11!

You’re never too young to attend to something important, whether it’s a wedding or a funeral. Full stop.

My main problem with the game was how small and secluded the worlds felt. Like, all the worlds were just floating islands, and they felt kind of congested. At least Mario Sunshine felt more vast and inter-connected.
I also wish the costumes served more purpose than just aesthetic reasons, like maybe they each came with a minigame or special ability to get certain Power Moons.
