sigh...poor guy he just didn't head her warning in the message to her sister "i will NEVER forgive" she doesn't want help, she doesn't want you to save her son or free her soul...it is quite simple, once she sees you you're doomed, she NEVER forgives

oh god >< this is AMAZING.
I clicked on the picture and kinda made a small squeal noise xD Like i did watching this. That lady in the back looks lie it naturally isnt supposed to be there. There is this wonderful and gorgeous painting of the handsome Mr Kipps, but then there is that errie woman back there. It is a wonderful painting, but it looks like she isnt supposed to be there, it gave me the chills.
This is soooo beautiful, if you ever sell the paintings or anything ever, go to my profile and tell me. Id buy this one. I LOVE the scary art and this is absolutely wonderful. Sorry if i seem obsessive, but you caught the essence this movie and book brought to me. The fact that anytime your back is turned, there is something there.
Again WONDERFUL EXQUISITE work, seriously. If the rules weren't sooo strict or any of that crap, i would say this deserves many Llamas and definitely a DD. You caught this wonderful haunting feeling, but i shall end this rant before i bore repeating myself over and over.

This is, from now on, my favourite comment.
I painted the woman in black with the idea of making something feel strange, like if Arthur didn't notice what we all already knew.
I do sell paintings, I can try and upload this as a print (and I mean try because I tried it before and it didn't work with another painting :S).
I tried to catch the essence of the movie and the book and being told that I didi feels just great.
Thank you for the great comment, it makes me want to keep painting.

your english is fine no problem there, sometimes i type and it doesnt seem to be any language really.
Thats why i love this picture so much. Through out the movie when he is either in the house or on the island, you can see the woman in pretty much Every screenshot in the background somewhere. She is always watching the household, and thats what you caught with this.
Also, she didnt show up too much during the day,usually just at night where we can barley see her, but this is amazing. Yes its during the day and at a random part where he starts to explore, but the way the Woman is just kinda there, it looks like she really isnt supposed to be there. Haunting really, at least i think so. This painting is wonderful, very close to what the book and movie tried to do.
As for sellin it, no worries or rushes there, it happens. I love just looking at it, but yes please never stop painting, Your work is wonderful, again, especially this. This is one of the most hauting pic i have ever seen. Just cant sotp looking at it and it gives me chills

the only part that was REALLY scary was when he was in the kids room and he was trying to get her to come and u slowly see the lights going out down the corridor...that was freakin creepy and then suddenly she screamed in his face right behind him in the room, i don['t know about anyone else but i screamed like a litle girl for the first time since i was kid
