well first of all he's using an m468 or some variation of one of those, even though it has a sniper scope on it doesnt make it into a sniper rifle because it lacks in accuracy over greater distances and uses the 6.8 ammo (that is if its a m468, if its a m16 then 5.56)

snipers mainly engage targets from 1km-2km using rifles with larger caliber rounds, marksmen engage targets only up to 1km using a rifle chambered with standard-issue rifle ammunition(5.56, 6.8, 7.62).. im quite sure u cant fit a 50cal bullet into a m468 and make a 2km shot with it xD

secondly the hill in the background doesnt look far enough to require use of a sniper scope

is the mag just covered by darkness or... wheres the mag? D:

second: A marksmen isnt really defined by the range he uses his weapon for but his actual role on the battlefield.

marksman is a squad operator for counter-sniping or longrange precision fire and other tasks..

but nice one changing the name
