Its a little distracting as an image. Maybe if you had focused more on the old dude it would of helped. Its a really good idea, and the lighting is great, but I think you should re-think the shot. Hmm... not much else to add. Btw, what is wrong with your lens?

I've drop it from my hand about 1ft high on the sand.. and the ring focus broke
