Description

Because I liked the first drawing I made of Betty Cooper, right now I am doing two more drawings, one of Betty and one of Veronica Lodge on the beach and wearing sexies bikinis for the liking of her fans (and Archie), which I hope to show you very soon.

This fondness of mine for the girls of Archie comics is not sudden, it is because the truth since I was a child this was one of my favorite comics and although I am not going to give up drawing manga style, when reviewing comics from the 40's, 50 ' s, 60's and 70's of Archie, I realize that these comics are a great source of inspiration to make the movement of the characters more fluid, because before Archie's comic based much of its humor on "visual jokes" in the style of the comic films of Chaplin or The Three Stooges.

Anyway, I take the opportunity to show you some sketches of the faces of Jughead Jones, Archie Andrews and Betty Cooper, which I tried to draw in the style of the master cartoonist Dan Decarlo and although I think the "freckled" and the "needle nose" were similar to the original, I couldn't help but give Betty's sketch some manga-style “touches”.
