This is my new manga version of Velma Dinkley, who will star in my fan made comic The Mansion of the Five Damsels and which I hope to start publishing at the end of April.

The original Velma of the 70's - before the horrible revamp of the "Velma" series - was a super smart, sarcastic girl with a good sense of humor and a good figure, hidden by a huge sweater.

So in my manga version I tried to reflect some of the "groovy spirit" of the original Velma from the 70's both in character and physique -and also I put a less bigger sweater on her- in fact, I´m so in love with the 70´s that in my fan made manga the plot is set in a gloomy, abandoned mansion from the 70s, so I don't have to worry about including so much cumbersome modern technology.

I hope you like this manga-style drawing of Velma Dinkley and soon I will show you manga-style drawings of Dee Dee -Captain Caveman-, Suzie Chan -The Chan Clan- Pepper -Clue Club- and Daphne Blake, who will be the other girls that will appear in my comic of the Mansion of the Five Damsels.
