This is so freaking lovely ! The colors are great together, and the expression you captured- endless MFG:! I love pictures that express feeling, and this definately is one of the most extreme ones I've seen. Excellent job!!!

your use of color always appeals to me...you have no fear of being bold and brash! i hope maybe one day i can see your paintings in real life, cuz i'm sure they have a textural quality that can't be told from looking at a photo alone

i would also like youto see my work in person , there is a difference whe u see it up close , espo the parger ones, i dont feel that they photo all that well, and that the orig is much better, some of the texture is illuisnionary and you cant tell unless u actually touch the surface, lol
bold and brash!!! me !! lol,, i feel so timid at times,,,,,,,,,,,, thanks for your insightful words as always,,,

I deeply regret the size of this file, it's very heavy for my 56k connection, too big to be seen on a conventionnal screen and there is a big lack of sharpness I think a simple 500k jpg should be far sufficient to feature your work with a good respect of details. I deeply regret this because the thumb gave me a good feeling about it, the contrast between colors was a great and the shape was interesting (it makes me think to your avatar).

i had not enlarged the image,, hmm it is a bit out of focus at that large size,,im n0t that up on changing image sizes etc,, something i am learning as i do ,,
yes it is a similar image as the avatar,, the small size image does look quite a lot like the original.. lets see if i can change the image soon,,, idontlike it zoomed in either,,

the works kinda remind me of Picasso! is that where you get your inspiration?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

arthurx7 In reply to tiger-lily-russia [2005-07-24 18:23:55 +0000 UTC]

actually , no,, bit i do like picasso.. primitive, naive things inspire me, but not exclusivly!!! being observant is probably my most important way to be inpired

arthurx7 In reply to violetlove [2005-07-25 19:47:04 +0000 UTC]

hmm i m not sure how i mixed that blue but i think it started with pthalo torquoise, and cerelean mixed,, not sure if there is soem ting else,, sometimes other touches of color migate from what on th ebrush, so its hard to know what other little touches make up a particular shade,, i can guess pretty clsoe though
