I wanted to do this comic for a very long time ever since I watched a funny clip from a Web Series called 'Red Vs Blue'.[link]
When I watched it. I knew it was something Italy would do.
Do you find it strange that both Caboose and Italy have the same colour Suit/Armor? Hmm.... (strokes chin)
Yeah, I don't think America, Canada or Mexico (especially) really liked the very incorrect discriptions of their lands.
I'm sorry Italy! But you were the perfect person to do this!
Hehe. If there was a Hetalia, Red vs Blue Crossover. Canada would definately be Doc (the guy in the purple armor)

Um, I speak Spanish and Cañada doesn't mean "you're welcome" XD It's a kind of river that passes by a valley between mountains. Although for some reason if you look up cañada, Canada pops up o_o But I think that's because in addition to sounding similar, Canada does have plenty of cañadas. Who knows. Also, "canada" derives from the word "katana", which means "settlement", "land", or "village" and it's in Canada's native language, Inuktitut ^___^ Anyway, I loved your comic! It's funny how European countries thought they were being clever when naming the New World countries, when really, they were entirely missing the point! XD

America = Russia
Mexico = Belarus

I mean, in my headcanon, America has the Canada's kind and caring side and the Mexico's annoying, arrogant, psycho and hyperactive side, like Russia has the Ukraine's sweetness and Belarus's scariness. It's like a craft between the two, not to mention that one of the country (Mex and Bel) were the only one who are actually able to annoy/scare badly another country (America and Russia) despite being consider by the world as the most annoying/scary.

Poor, poor Italy... As if messing with USA wasn't bad enough, now he has quiet, but dangerous Canada and the psychotic Yangire Mexico after his head. That little guy better run.
At least he only pissed off the North Americans and not the Slavs. *shudders* Imagine what would Russia and Belarus would do to the poor guy...

lol - I've heard of "Red vs Blue" but I've never watched it, so thanks for the link! This comic was really funny regardless, though.
And I can see why you'd think Matthew would be like Doc. I had to look up the characters, actually, because the whole split-personality thing confused me - by the way, that makes me wonder: if Doc is like Matthew...where on earth does O'Malley fit in? Unless you like Snapped!Canada, that is. The thing that made me laugh the hardest, though, was when he said, "The next time he talks to me like that, I'm gonna tell him to go straight to H-E-double-hockey-sticks." O_O...I can so imagine Matthew saying that.

Yeah, I that thought about that too. Though, thinking about it, Canada does have a hard time expressing his anger when he wants to. And when he does... KABOOM. Haha. So I think he does have some sort of darkness to him that he hides from everyone. So Snapped!Canada it is.

Well, obviously, Mattie would have a darker side to him. It's one of those things that I have fun exploring in my stories sometimes - not so much Snapped!Canada, but the darker side that becomes apparent in the history. For instance, I can imagine that he'd have this rather manipulative side to him - being raised by first Francis and then Arthur, it's hard not to!
It was the hockey reference that did it for me. But personally, I doubt Matthew would use a euphemism like that - statistically, Canadians swear more than either Americans or Brits

The whole reason why the natives in the States and Canada are sometimes called Indians, was because when they found the Americas they thought they were in India and the natives there were Indian.

I can't remember properly but didn't the same thing happen with Australia? Explorers tried asking the natives about the place and they said "I don't know what you are saying." ...but in their own language.
